    Which is sad considering the wasted money we have tied up in Eyre, Jones, and bitch tit.s whose remaining salary we ate. Wieters has MLB ready power and understands the concept of taking a walk. He should be ML ready by mid 08 and could replace Barrett. 4-5 years after that he could slide to first or third to ease the wear on this knees. I hate this organization. Could not have said it any better. Wieters is the second best player in this draft, if he is on the board we NEED to take him.

    I agree but there is a money issue. If money were not involved that pick would be wieters hands down.

    its looking more and more like vitters will be a Cub due to the signability issues of Wieters. I read that the Cubs like a High School pitcher- Parker?? I just cant see how they turn down Vitters if he is there at 3, or Wieters if they change their mind about the whole Slot Money thing.

    pie, cedeno, patterson, veal, fox, murton, holliman, and this years first round pick should do it. besides that i would say not much sence they are not looking to take on any contracts.

    this was the case last year as well. not much of a suprize to me. he should just be building up arm strength, expect him to be in the rotation sometime before the ASB.

I am guessing 2 pitchers and 2 hitters. I think Guzman will make the team. After him there are a lot of spots to still be won. what do you all think?

    looks like the tennessee rotation is going to be deadly with that 1-2 punch. I agree with Raisin on those five. any chance Samardzija could get to tennessee before the ASB? And Pawelek sould stay in pepria until he prooves himself with a full season of basbeall.

    Mark Loretta is the ultimate MLB gamer. Why would the cubs, or any one for that matter not want this guy? He is a perfect #2 hitter (something we dont have). We can sign him and trade Iztures/Ronny C. for OF help. Makes no sense to me at all...........
