  1. 10...yeah thats what I figured Bryz just got dominated last night by the Hawks ha.
  2. Does anyone do fantasy hockey? I like hockey don't know a lot of the players playing now though and did a draft. I have no idea if my teams any good after my first few players. What should I do to improve this team? Jarome Iginla, Cgy F Chris Pronger, Ana D Ilya Bryzgalov, Pho G Eric Staal, Car F Dan Boyle, SJ D Manny Legace, StL G Brad Richards, Dal F Sheldon Souray, Edm D Jonathan Toews, Chi F Michal Rozsival, NYR D Ryan Smyth, Col F Bryan McCabe*, Fla D Sean Avery, Dal F Robert Lang, Mon F Dustin Byfuglien, Chi F David Legwand, Nsh F Tuomo Ruutu, Car F Jeremy Roenick, SJ F Thanks I appreciate any help
  3. Roy Williams....Good reciever will be better no on the god awful Lions, but the Cowboys gave up way to much and didn't need him that much either. Maybe the Lions will make some good moves without Millen in this draft
  4. ahhh thank you someone finally agrees with me on the Zambrano for Josh Hamilton I don't get why the Rangers would do it. They have no pitching what so ever and Josh Hamilton isn't the healthiest guy in the major leagues. Plus there offense is stacked with or without him
  5. Only game I'd be remotely worried about it is @OSU...Also possibly MSU just cause of Ringer, but yeah you guys should win out. Just hope Bama or Texas lose

  7. no way they lose to IU there god awful...Mich St. if it's on the road I'd be a little scared of Jevon Ringer at home...Iowa think should be a pretty easy win as well
  8. Do you think Texas can do that for the 2 more games after that they got Mizzou this week and then Okla St. next week rough schedule
  9. I always thought if Theriot as a .300 type hitter. He just needs to be a little smarter on the basepaths. he should have a decent career ahead of him. I agree with this statement and why would 29 teams think that? He put up similar type numbers last year up until the last month. He matured a little this year and put up those numbers for a longer time this year. I really think he'll put these type of numbers for the rest of his career it's not that crazy. That's not accurate. He had one great month last year that propped up his numbers. Take a look: 2007 April .299/.347/.328 May .256/.330/.367 June .224/.272/.276 July .348/.437/.483 August .276/.315/.353 Sept .202/.257/.263 Entering Sept. 2007, he was at .281/.342/.365. Those numbers were largely inflated due to a great month of July. Without that one month, his numbers would have been freaking terrible. They weren't good to begin with. 2008 April .323/.396/.434 May .308/.407/.337 June .309/.369/.340 July .333/.395/.407 August .281/.384/.302 Sept .278/.360/.316 Entering Sept. 2008, he was at .311/.391/.365. You're talking about a near 50 point difference in OBP from that time last year. On top of that, he was pretty steady month-to-month...OBP-wise anyway. I'm glad I checked if someone else posted before I started looking all that up, because I was about to go to BR and post the same thing. I probably should have just looked it up on here. I'm sure it's been posted at least a dozen times combined by myself and several others. Ok well I was proved wrong there, but why do you think there's not chance he'll bat .300 next year?
  10. When shall I receive her? he didn't say it would be a her :-)) Well then I'm intrigued ha

  13. Thats awesome ha  Think it will be closer though
  14. I really could live with his legs in the outfield....That is if he would sign a reasonable contract of 12-13mil a year. That bat is still so good and he still has the arm as well.
  15. Let's get a win and good start to the season :yahoo:
  16. I just think they wanted to hire Del Negro because the team is still young and they should put an inexperienced coach with them I think the reason they didn't get a guy like Pringles is he's more experienced and why waste him having a .500 team for the next year or two....I think it had nothing to do with money
  17. Lets get a win and a good start to the season! :yahoo: (oops that was meant for the Blackhawks thread ha)
  18. Yeah Skiles was to nuts....Now Del Negro might be to relaxed
  19. I don't think he'll be that bad...
  20. Letting Dempster walk and signing Burnett is great move hopefully, Hendry' thinking along the same lines. I don't know if Burnett will be cheaper but, I believe he'll perform better than Dempster. I'd love those moves. I'd prefer Furcal over Renteria though. Furcal is faster and is a switch hitter.
  21. TT very well could eventually become something, but I don't feel it this year or anytime to soon...I think they could squeak in the playoffs. They are very undersized though
  22. I don't think they are going to be some dominant team, but they can easily be a playoff team. You gotta figure with a new coach whose aim is to run an up-tempo offense and use a lot of pick and rolls is going to be really good for this team. The hope here is that Rose and Tyrus become the Nash and Amare of the Eastern Conference, or at least somewhat resemble it. Might seem really far fetched but you have to remember that both players have a crapload of untapped talent. Rose I agree with Thomas on the other hand wasn't even that good in college. They just knew he could jump and that's about it He wasn't good in college, but he only played 1 year. He is/was an extremely raw player. I'm not saying he's a lock to be a superstar, but it's fair to say the jury is still out. He could be a good player or he could end up as Stromile Swift version 2. This year will go a long way in telling. I'm thinking Stromile unless he learns how to at least semi shoot which he is god awful at so far in his career.

  24. So you make a comment like that and then disappear? http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p228/irish1289/catchingfeelings.jpg Well I don't know how that wouldn't be a personal attack on me to say something like that...When Cro Magnon knows absolutely nothing about me
