    And with the brew crew winning over the pirates. We are in 2ND PLACE lone all by ourselves! YAY!! What a week of good baseball can do.

    I disagree. I think it should be a CD. Phonograph please. I'd like it played off an SD card. Or perhaps straight off the hard-drive. It loads quicker that way.

    On Sunday Guzman will face the Nationals. Lou deffinatly picked a good team to try Gooz out on, but I'm feeling a mediocre start. I haven't watched or heard Gooz's starts in the minors so I don't know if it looked more like he was just getting some work in, or if he was actually struggling with some control? If it's the control I doubt he makes it out of the 4th inning. If he was working on stuff I think he could go 5-6 giving up 3 or less. What's your thoughts on this?

    A couple of months? I know a baseball season is kind of long, but come on. I'm still trying to figure out how a baseball team learns to win with each other. So Derrek, you like hitting the ball that way and think I should run around the bases when you hit it. That's cool, we did that differently in Washington, but I'll figure it out. Hey Carlos, I think we need to figure out which days you plan on giving up lots of runs and which days you'll give up just 1 or 2, so we can adjust our offensive strategy accordingly. Maybe he just meant that the team will "gel" after awhile. But I don't think it will take 2 months. :D It has already started. It started the day they came back with 4 runs in one inning to take the lead.

    Yeah I have that on my DVR, I will NEVER, REMOVE it. I loved the way Len and Bob laughed. Hey, if you have the ability to put it on youtube, could you put the quick segment of the Pirate having some fun before the game? I think it would be a GREAT youtube video if you put those parts first, then lead up to that. Or if you have it, send the 1 minute segment to me starting with the pre-game and I'll splice together a nice funny video for you.

    I wouldn't be against letting Cedeno go if you want to go with Theroit/Izturis and Derosa as a super sub. Theroit can play SS in a jam. However, with Floyd here. Floyd and Murton could share RF very well I think. And Pie's glove is stellar in CF. So I'm not really against any move including Jaque or Cedeno. But not Murton.

    Can't you give them some credit for winning the series? Seriously, if they had lost 2 of 3 there would have been a lot of hand wringing about not getting the job done... Yep, gotta credit them when dey do good. winning 5 of 6 games. They have done good. I give them credit for getting some wins under their belt.

    Any lineup that includes Izturis is a bad lineup if you ask me. What about... CF Beltran C Mauer 1B Pujols DH Hafner 3B ARod LF Manny RF Vlad 2B Utley SS Izturis ? Well if all CF Beltran C Mauer 1B Pujols DH Hafner 3B ARod LF Manny RF Vlad 2B Utley are struggling, then yes.

    We HAVE won 3 of our last 4. You've got to remember they are digging themselves out of a 6 under .500 record. It won't be quick and easy, even though I wanted them to sweep and be .500 too. But I'm more optimistic because of the recent winning. .

    soriano won't have a breakout game for atleast another few weeks. But then he'll go on an INSANE tear for like 2 months. So no worries mate.

The problem is, you guys are talking about how things will even out toward the end of the season. The thing is, Theroit is getting his hits and contributing, RIGHT NOW. So you go with him until he stops being what seems like in the middle of every rally. My point? Take him out AFTER he goes 0 for 4 with no RBI's. Not before. So he should have been out today? I'm not sure what happened 2 days ago. But since the Cubs win, you keep theriot in. Yes I'm superstitious. But so are players.
