    Lou just needs to use him correctly. Hopefully Lou "gets it", now. I think Lou always knew that. He was used in one game correctly, and most of the rest were just mop-up innings in blowouts. The only other close game that Ohman was in was the game in the 14th inning, where Lou was forced to go to him against both left and right-handers Ok, guess I am just remembering wrong (or based on rants here on the board previously).

    Up 4-0 in the third inning of the first game of a series and you are already thinking sweep, huh? You must be a glass half full type. As for me, I am just hoping they Z doesn't have another epsiode and blow THIS game. Ha! That was the last drop of optimism in my body. Not sure where it came from, I thought I was tapped out after '03. I thought I was topped out by THIS YEAR, already. But when they play like this you hope and feel they can "get hot" and win some games.

    Because blue will blow the call? no, because it's dumb. I agree. But not in this case. Lee got a great jump and DID beat the throw. And if you get a great jump and feel you can steal, I'm not entirely against it because a WP, PB, or SF will score you.

    I meant, were there any more details about what steve stone said? Because it's not going to be more than a steve stone bash in here anyway. If we had reasons for WHY steve stone said that. It would be easier to discuss.

    Steve Stone is an no-doubt idiot when it comes to baseball roster decisions and evaluation. And a hypocrite. Several years ago he was critical of the Cubs front office for letting Cedeno win the starting job based on his limited success in the majors, and now he is critical of the Cubs front office for not giving Theriot a shot at second base because he was great with the big club last season. Pick and choose your battles Steve...heres hoping you are no where near the front office of this team when ownership changes. I forgot what he said about Cedeno. But so far Cedeno has not proven to have much ML talent has he? (offensively atleast). He DID support his Theroit argument pointing to Theroit's continued improvement throughout his minor league carreer in Batting average. We all like Theriot don't we? I think he's gotta point there. Would we be so bad off if we didn't have Derosa and Theriot was playing at 2B every day?
