  1. I can't ignore that. Yeah it sounded like ball 4.
  2. I have a feeling they finally will, this inning. . don't be too sure.. I'm sure. I used the force.
  3. HA hahahaHAHAHAHAHAHA. BEST. SUPERSTITION. EVAR!!
  4. I have a feeling they finally will, this inning. .
  5. Len said some crap about not allowing a baserunner after the 5th. Nice one, Len! After the first out, Pat pointed out that Marquis sat down 16 in a row, then emphasized, "You heard right, Marquis has not allowed a SINGLE BASERUNNER via hit OR walk the entire game." I know this is way way late. But I can second this. I was in the car. Pat's fault.
  6. AWESOME, now he just needs to get his stroke back. YES! Go Murt! ---- I'm here, following on Gamecast and listening to minor league baseball on the radio. I must say. I like how some of the players are wearing the high socks. Maybe Soriano has rubbed off on them a bit? Sori, Matty, Marquis. Anyone else? I think Dempster sports it sometimes. Prior  Yes I know. It's ok. Try to think positive. Chin up.

  8. Yeah, that's how I feel. You can't get a hit all the time ofcourse. But it would be NICE if one of the big guys, could get a big hit. And they each had 1 or 2 good chances to end it.
  9. No, it made the failed chance in the 8th hurt. Please see above post. It also made MANY things hurt. I'm not hanging this all on Soriano.
  10. stop bringing it up Well give me a break here. Every time I tried to end it, I was continually beaten over the head with it. So I owe you guys one. And by the way. Losing by one also made ALOT of the other things hurt. This one's not just on Soriano. That post was just me "correcting" the way I should have said it in the first place. Ok?
  11. Losing this game by 1, really made that failed chance in the first hurt. Now go ahead, misconstrue that.
  12. Soriano let me down in the 1st. Soriano made a stellar play in extras. Both times the team made stellar plays defensively, they bent over in their half. Jones sucked. Ron Santo probably had a heart attack. Aram looked terrible in that last at bat.
  13. "THE losing run" is the same as "the losing run". Sigh. You guys live to argue. I take it all back. Everybody on the team sucks. And I'll try to type every God damn word EXACTLY as I feel, so as to not have my feelings misconstrued.
  14. And BTW. I didn't say, THE losing run. I said the losing run. See that's what happens when you capitalize words in your head as you're reading. :P
  15. Yea, Ryan Dempster completely sucking in the 9th had nothing to do with it. Or Jacque Jones being beyond useless in the 8th. Or the fact that Soriano drove in the third run or threw a guy out at home in extras. This one is all on Soriano, folks. I think you're taking my comment too personal toward Soriano. Jones, Murton, Demp, lots of people sucked. However, he scores that run in the 1st, we wouldn't have even been in extras. Dempster holds the lead, we wouldn't have been in extras. See how that works? Yeah? You just added another reason. See, I'm not DISAGREEING with it like you are mine. You stated that Soriano's failed tag up was THE losing run. Sounds like a pretty absolute statement to me. Try not to take me too literally tonite. It was the winning run in a sense that the cubs lost by 1. Not that he was the only one at fault.
  16. Exactly. Butterfly effect. Well my butterfly effect was that if Sori scored that run, it would have jump started the offense and the cubs would have scored 6 runs in the game. So there! :P

  19. Yea, Ryan Dempster completely sucking in the 9th had nothing to do with it. Or Jacque Jones being beyond useless in the 8th. Soriano's failed run STILL was the losing run. So where many other bases loaded and men on third opportunities. But point is, He scores that, we win. Just pointing out that, when you don't take the runs you are given. THIS can happen.
  20. Yep. So soriano's failed tag up was the losing run. .
  21. Why can't WE get stellar DF plays like that!!?!? Oh wait! We did! TWICE! But FAILED to capitolize on the IMMENSE momentum. . .
  22. I'd say %20 chance. But with the way this game is going? %100 chance, and the game goes another 6 innings.
