No actually Its me who got the win. . I decided to take a drive because the Cubs weren't doing so well. And listened to the game in the car. Just as I was driving that exciting 8th inning came up. I'm going to take more drives when the Cubs are loosing. :lol: EDIT: I can take a drive every time the Cubs are loosing. Can you accept a new job everytime the Cubs are loosing? :P

HE GAVE UP A HOMERUN TO MIGUEL CABRERA, NOT EXACTLY A ROOKIE. SO THE HELL WHAT!!! HE STILL GAVE UP 3 RUNS!! Your whole point was how he gave it up to a rookie team, sweetpete called you out, so you stepped back.

He's struck out NINE!!!!!!! Doesn't matter when you consistently walk batters and give up crucial hits. If he Ks 15 and gives up 3 in 5 it's still not good enough. It's all in perspective. If we had 4 runs you wouldn't be saying that. This game is all on the offense. Zambrano has performed well, it's the offenses job to get 3-5 runs a game. .

There's a difference between showing emotion and doing something stupid that could hurt yourself and the team. Especially with the rotation in the state it is in right now. There are 24 other guys he needs to be accountable to. Z doesn't get hurt because he's made of titanium.

Nice quick inning there after Z broke his bat and went back to the darkside. I feel a good inning coming up for the cubs batters. . .

And pitch all year. No more freakin depending on Wood and Prior. . Because we have a different opinion... We all heard you the first time... And why you think they will finally start pitching full years out of spring training? To say oh well we have different opinions is the easy way out, but explain why, after all the heartache. You'd want to go into 2007 with them near the top of your line-up. BTW I actually changed it a bit. So I didn't post the exact same thing twice. I went from getting a #3 starter to a #2. Because we need to GET solid top of the order guys instead of relying on Prior or Wood to be there.

So true. I can tell you, I will feel alot better when I see woody back, and if he has a good game. It will give ME a morale booster. :lol:

If this is true, I'm excited to see what this kid can do for us. I've been hearing about this kid for three friggin years - I am PSYCHED to see what he can do at the MLB level. I just hope that if he tears it up, they won't immediately ship him out for Doug Mientkewicz or some other scrub that can't help us near as good as a strong and healthy Guzman. I doubt it. Hendry has to keep an eye to the 2007 rotation with the possibility of, at least, 2/ 5 of this year's anticipated starters nolonger being with the club. The Cubs will need some quality arms. If Guzman pitches well I think he'll start for the Cubs next year. 2007: Wood Prior Maddux Zambrano Guzman :shock: :shock: at your SP. No way!
