    With Guzman pitching hopefully we can score more than 5 runs. But we can't, that's why this is an easily predictable loss. Bet anyone stupid enough your whole life savings if possible. Loss. Guaranteed. Book it.

    Zambrano finally had a great outing. And he deserved a win, the CUBS needed a win. Dusty stole a W from Zambrano, and he stole it from the Cubs. I mean after the fact doesn't it make it seem so stupid that he took Murton and Cedeno out of the line-up in the game that Zam picthed scoreless baseball?

    Well, yeah, he had the extension coming Worked really hard to earn it, too! I hate this as much as you all do. But remember, before Lee went down this team was actually looking pretty good and meshing together quite well. But I do agree in what I will assume you wanted too. In that JH should have trades some great prospects for a difference maker in RF.

    I don't even get excited to watch the Cubs anymore. Watching them play it is apparent the lack of fire in their eyes and lack of motivation and drive to win. They are slowly spiraling down toward the inferno and they need to turn it around quick. Let's all pray, right here that some offense sparks and gets going for tommorow nights game. And that Zam turns it around and pitches solid ball. We desperately need a "turnaround" game to get things going in the right direction. It seems like me not watching the game isn't helping, so tommorow I am going to watch with hope. Let's get some positive vibes going in this thread. PLEASE!! Sure we can hover around .500, even lower, and still come back. But at the end of the season, when wildcards are one by one game, sometimes even a half game, you look back and think, you can never turn these losses into wins. So let's win NOW!!

    If he really did say "Maybe you should read it". . Sounds pretty rude to me. Maybe you should read a book about "OBP" D.u.s.t.b.a.g. Dusty should worry about himself rather than some minor thing like this? I mean WTH is going to happen if the brewers see Barret with his hands in ice? Purposely hit his hands with the next pitch? I seriously doubt this minor sprain will effect Barrets ability to swing a bat. Dusty here's another one. How about reading the book that tells you to use Jones in the one thing his is GOOD at. Defense in RF during the late innings!!

    YES!! First time I'll be watching Len and Bob in HD!! Cause I finally got an off air antenna working and WGN-DT coming in great!! So no more waiting for ESPN for my Cubbies in HD!! I'm also getting a new 62" 1080 HDTV in a week. I'm pumped about seeing Cubbies in HD!!

    If you've seen 2 or 3 then you've only really missed 1 or 2 of his starts. But it sounded like you thought you missed most of them. Also today wasn't really brilliant, he really didn't have his A game today, but still won. I'd say his wins #3 and #4 were his most brilliant. .

    Its a little more palatable on a day like today when you would figure runs to be at a premium. Well I LIKE bunting. But not from Cedeno with Pierre on 2nd. But he got on so oh well. .

    I've got an RCA off air antenna and I get in Fox and other channels real strong. Like 80%. But WGN-DT is about 46% sometimes 56% then dips down alot. Is it a weaker signal compared to other stations? It's about the ONLY one out of 15 or so that doesn't give me a constant good signal. I don't have the model # off hand but it was a $59.99 one at Best Buy. I HAVE tried changing directions, lowering and raising gain, and messsed with the antennas. So what way am I gonna have to go to get WGN-DT? It is 29.9 miles and "frequency assignment" is 19 (<-??) What model should I be trying next? I was going to try the Zenneth Silver next and see how that works.

    Rusch will get an extra day of rest and start on Saturday, presumably to avoid throwing Greg off his normal routine while he is pitching like this. Hopefully Maddux will start the series off well. He will, guaranteed.
