    EXACTLY. But more than that. We need higher ups that understand the importance of OBP and plate patience. But as for your first part. I didn't want to admit this last year but St. Louis lost Rolen almost all of 2004 and they still won what, 100 games? I beleived the excuses of this orginazation. Now this year we loose a critical player in Lee for more than 2 months. And look what happens. I honestly think if the Cardinals lost Pujols for 2 months, they would loose some ground. But honestly beleive they would still be a few games over .500. They just have a stronger orginazation. They have a better GM and Manager basically.

    Over and under on how many years Hendry will beable to (and will not hesitate) to use the injury excuse (as opposed to not putting together a good enough team to cope with an injury). . They used it in 2004 They really used it in 2005 And we are already seeing it this year with Derreck Lee How many more years will key players keep getting injured, Hendry fail to build a team to cope with it, and continue to use it as an excuse for not winning?

    Nope, they just seeminly randomly use different broadcast teams each day. Sometimes you'll be Len & Bob 2 games in a row. But I only use MLB.tv for replays. So who knows maybe they use the chicago feed every day but alot of the days it's the other teams broadcasters during replays. But as far as choosing who to watch live, No. You can choose which AUDIO to listen to as both are always available. Video this is not the case.

    We'll trade him for Jeff Conine. We kept him all this time, kept him as "untouchable" he'll be in CF next year thank god. heck, the way Pierre is going Pie will be our CF in a couple of weeks. I'd be for that!! Haha. A $5.5mil pinch runner!!

    I should just let this pass, but as I am slightly bored and warm (no A/C in the home office), pls note that I simply asked the question because I didn't know the exact answer re: recovery time. No reason for you to respond flippantly. I know, and I'm sorry. I was sarcastically trying to say, let's not focus too much on Derreck Lee until he atleast gets his cast off. And that will be a little under 3 weeks. Let's just focus on Wood and Prior and hope they come back strong and keep some positive momentum going, so Lee will have SOMETHING to come back to!! :)

    I just watched that entire at bat. I LOVED IT!! He was deffinatly aiming to whap him. There should be some interesting replays for tommorow's game too. I can't wait to see who hits who. Haha. .

    The Dusty interview is usually taped a couple of hours or so beforehand. Maybe you're right. I hope so. It was hard to hear after TOooooood WaaaAAlKeerr!!!

    This is the real line-up, just announced on WGN radio. I also just heard wayne mesmer announce it to the crowd (it was hard to hear after walker but it sounded the same)
