  1. I'm not happy. These pathetic slugs need to be shamed into changing their approach. Nothing good can happen from breaking up a shut out in the 9th or escaping a no-hitter against a minor leaguer. Why does it matter? Even if they got litterally embarrased by a no hitter dusty would just say "gotta tip your cap dude" and his attitude would rub off onto the players as "just something that happens sometimes". This approach and the "tipping of caps" will not end until dustworthless is gone!! Then maybe the embarrasment will force management to make a change. If we lose another 10 in a row. Maybe. But we'd have to litterally dig ourselves a grave before that happened. I didn't say it was definitely going to happen. But I'd rather these fools be no-hit, and exposed to the clueless people who don't yet understand the problems, than scratch out some undeserved hits to make it look like things aren't as bad as they truly are. Yep I understand. And I'm saying it doesn't matter. This is the official king of excuses club we are talking about.

  4. Good job starting the thread. I think I should probably get this game on HD since it's ESPN (HD games are few and far between for me on DirectTV).

  6. Next year we could have the Killer C's!!! . . . . . . . . . . (ok that was bad, I'm sorry). :P
  7. You'd have to read the game thread to understand. Funny thing is I posted this before he got out of the jam. Just because I knew he could do it! GO Marmol!
  8. . . . . no need to elaborate!!
  9. No, they'll increase after our big rally in the top of the seventh.:D Plus there will be Marmol opimism threads. Several titled simply "Marmol" without elaboration They don't need elaboration.
  10. No. Is it possible we have another Marshall on our hands?

  12. I have the game on behind me, but I'm not REALLY "watching" it. Just chatting here with you guys. If a Cubs gets something going I'll notice Len's raised voice. LOL. Zambrano and Zambrano Jr. for rotation next year PLZ!! (and we thought Guzman was gonna be it. If he picks it up we could have Zambrano #1, #2, and #3 next year  ) Z Prior Marshall Guzman Marmol POTENTIALLY filthy. I agree. But I would feel much better if we have a COMPITENT back-up starter. IE: NOT rusch or williams.

  14. They were talking about choose SP or bullpen for Marmoll. Don't move him around. Looks like the better descision might be to just go with him as a starter. Prior still isn't back, something is up with Wood, and RUSCH is still pitching. Ugh.
  15. The Old Style letters? No, although those were bad enough. Now they're doing Cub fan standup. Makes me want to jam Q-Tips in my ears. Makes me want to jam a spoon up my rear! Because If I'm gonna have to suffer that much pain. I'm gonna do it, to mySELF!!
