    You know of any links of audibles on the net? That would be sort of cool to hear what they say about his "calls". . Now that I am thinking about it. If the Cubs ever won the WS when Santo is alive, on the last out first he'd scream "YES YES" and probably cry. And then he'd cry during the post game interview. And we'd all probably cry along with him. Damn our ownership.

    I'd bat Murton 2nd or 6th right now. I'd put the lineup together as follows: Walker Murton Jones Nevin Ramirez Barrett Cedeno Pierre The Sad thing is, who knows where we'd be if Dusty REALLY tinkered with the line-up until he found something. Probably alot better than 13 under .500. Who knows, with Pierre in the 8 slot maybe that would have releived some pressure and he wouldn't be in such a bad funk that he is now.

    He's been saying that for a while now. A couple of weeks ago I heard him say the same thing. The Cubs will probably run him out of town too. They wouldn't. It would be one of the worst PR moves in the history of human exsistance. And Cubs fans would not let them get away with it. Santo is loved by almost each and every Cubs fan. If they want to keep fans, they keep Santo. I just hope along with Santo, something happens to force a change. Whether it be end up in last place this year, Cubs sold. WHATEVER. I don't know how you take one of the most powerful teams in 2003, and instead of building on that. You end up with this heap pile of $#17!!

And when you gotta guy like Z on the mound, we had opportunities to score easily 4 runs to win this game. The sad thing about it, this offense is just not clicking, AT ALL. I don't know what you can do, you win 3 against cincy on the road, and now you lose 3 in a row at home, and it just doesn't make sense. And they gotta just do something. . . . they gotta . . . make some changes. . . or something. . (he sounded REALLY depressed. Kinda like how when Dusty loses he goes into his pout and says "man I've never felt this bad, my teams are good teams). . .

    I had the radio on slightly. I think he just said something about, nothings going right, not getting timely hits, you just need to make some changes. So yes he indeed did say about needing changes. He was not specific, just said changes. Atleast someone with some recognition is saying it. Tell it like it is Santo.

    They won last time. Yeah, but the Cubs are something like 5-1958364 on WGN this year Currently, the Cubs have a one game winning streak on WGN. :D If the Cubs win tonite. Buy a lotto ticket. Because something is up.

    If Prior is gonna be here next year (and he will). . He needs to get into some winter workout regimin. He should hang out with Z and see what he does during the offseason. Prior needs to come to ST in shape and ready to pitch. Not 2 months behind like always. .

    Hendry has done and will do A LOT worse things than relying on Mark Prior to be something more than a #5 next year. This makes me sad. :cry:

    Funny how an infection caused him to miss 2 months of pitching in the major leagues. I like the Kid. But Hendry will be a fool if he relies on Prior as anything more than a #5 next year. That basically means build your pitching staff around ZAMBRANO and a star pitching aquisition. NOT prior.

    Derreck Lee? Carlos Zambrano? Micheal Barret? Carlos Marmol? Ryan Dempster? Scott Eyre?

    That is really my biggest fear. I fear that Hendry wont want to give any signs that last offseason was a failure, and not trade away the pierres and jones. Or worse, I fear that he actually believes this crap about "all these injuries..poor us" and in turn leaves the team how it is. "I really like the guys we've got. You just gotta give them a chance to go out on the feild, and play."
