Ok, it's obvious we will be "sellers" (more like dumpers). . We won't be needing any huge slugging or HR guy at the deadline. But I don't view the Cubs as a team that needs to "sell" because they have such a high payrole. It's not like they "NEED" to unload contracts of stars like small market teams would. They'd get young talent for the likes of Ramirez, Lee, Zambrano, ect. . . What the Cubs need to do is keep the good stuff, and dump the junk (if even for minimal prospects). . Who do you see going and staying? I personally see Cedeno as a long time Cubs SS and I have absolutely no problems with that. Actually the more I think about it, the more I realize the Cubs probably won't make many moves at all during the trade deadline. They won't get rid of all the junk they need to, and they won't bring in anyone marginally better than what we have. Because Hendry has been a guy that at the deadline, would bring someone big, in. He doesn't need to do that this year. So I am clueless as how he will handle the trades, with THIS team. What do ya think?
