  1. Apparently you're so broken by your teams always letting you down you're going to hang your hat on the Bears beating the Viking on 11/16/14 as the last time you knew joy.
  2. I know. I disagree. You disagree that they dominated the game? They gained twice as many yards Best part is he didn't even watch the game. I have no idea what he's basing it on because the yards don't matter and the eye test can't because he didn't see it. Team racks up big offensive numbers minus big points against a shitty team at home. Team has ranged from hugely disappointing to terrible all season. Big offensive numbers minus big points in one game doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot to me in terms of pointing to them getting better or showing signs of life. The big numbers were seasonal aberrations.
  3. I know. I disagree. You disagree that they dominated the game? They gained twice as many yards I am a football meatball; if your hugely disappointing offense that has had massive expectations all of it only manages to eke out 21 points at home against the Vikings despite their overall performance of the day then it just ultimately falls in line with how disappointing they've been all season. Nothing about that game points to them actually being better or capable or having a chance against a team that isn't bad.
  4. Guys have been open all day. It's only by the grace of McCown that they haven't done more.
  5. Briggs sprained his...fat...something...I don't know, I don't even care anymore.
  6. I know. I disagree.

  8. Sounds like you're caught in a logic loop. Try a hard reboot. You can't even justify what you think is obvious. I don't even know what that means. I just know the Bears' offense is terrible. Last week wasn't them underperforming; it was them getting lucky just enough but still being so shitty they couldn't even score more like they should have.

  11. you haven't watched any of the wins? Nope. Had been working/travelling a lot this season on the weekends. It's incredible to me that they've won 4 games.
  12. Seriously, how have they won any games this year? This peripherals must be [expletive] amazing because I have only seen the losses and it blows my mind that a team looking this bad could have won anything. I'm going to shut it off so I stop jinxing them.
  13. They suck every game. Don't have a FATAL DISK ERROR, man.
  14. They suck and we're losing. What is your point? Smoke and mirrors; they're just bad. what smoke and mirrors? When the offense hints at looking good. They just suck. [expletive] science.
  15. They suck and we're losing. What is your point? Smoke and mirrors; they're just bad.
  16. The Bears have been able to work off of an interception and two punts that had them around the 50 and they have 0 points to show for it.
  17. Everything about this team is terrible.
  18. Chicago is going through some kind of [expletive] up Stockholm Syndrome with how many people I've heard saying they want Lovie over Trestman. It's amazing how many people were content to go 8-8 or 9-7 year after year. Now obviously Trestman isn't the answer, but Lovie certainly wasn't it either. Right. It's weird how relatively few people seem bothered by missing out on Arians and just instead focus on Trestman vs. Lovie. And for all the talk of who can "keep a team/lose a team," holy [expletive], I forgot about how many penalties Lovie's teams have.
  19. I don't know what's wrong with people like you. Uhm, they ARE terrible.
  20. Chicago is going through some kind of fucked up Stockholm Syndrome with how many people I've heard saying they want Lovie over Trestman.
  21. The stands clearing out around halftime would be sadly hilarious.
  22. Nothing was wrong with the throw. Don't know why he went to the ground. TURFTURFTURFTURF It's as grey and lifeless as the players' souls.
  23. Cutler is having one of his best seasons ever, and yet even that can't carry these hapless [expletive] coaches Nah, not knocking Cutler with that one; just busting sulley's balls over his hope that the offense is gonna break out.
