Yeah, I wouldn't trade Schwarber for Hamels, but I'd have zero problem with the Cubs being proactive and trading him as a main piece in a deal for a serious impact bat.

Isn't that basically all he did with the Cardinals?

    HAYSTACKS CALHOUN!!! https://youtu.be/JzJP-F9sMWs (It's a deep cut)

Agreed. He's off my "pitchers that make me nervous when they come in" list Meanwhile, 7/9 of the lineup is on my "hitter that makes me angry when they come up with runners on base" list. Yeah, it really feels like the bullpen and offense slowly flip-flopped each other. YOU CAN GO OUT TOGETHER, YOU CRAZY KIDS.

Man, I'm the opposite of some of you and I love seeing Motte go out these days.

And the crowd goes wild. Yay.

Why exactly? Not everyone hates him with a fiery passion. It's downright bizarre how some of the new posters flat out seem to enjoy his shitty season. I honestly think they'd be even more pissed off if he started doing well.

Why exactly? WHY DO YOU FEEL, HUGH-MON.
  12. Sammy Sofa
    Hopefully not much.

    HONK SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think the lack of offense/dongs killed David.

And in this case "PTR" would mean Todd, because he's definitely the GOB of that family.

It was just PTR doing this, wasn't it? http://i.giphy.com/n0WvhHFTpihk4.gif

This is the complete and total opposite of irrational.

And this point I think Maddon is just trying to piss everyone off with #4 spot.

There has been some talk about him on the board lately so I just figured there were at least rumors that they would be shopping him. If not, yeah, it's likely just a pipe dream.

Man, the Cubs are gonna win by double digits tonight.
  23. Sammy Sofa
How come Fangraphs likes him so much more than BR? Does it mostly just come down to differences in defensive analysis?
  24. Sammy Sofa
But seriously; yet again, why isn't he batting 4th instead of Montero?
