    If I could get to 3 days/13.whatever hour-shifts I would do it in a heartbeat. Sounds like you get to avoid the traffic hours too. Although I suspect in DC you ride the Metro or whatever it's called. Nah, there's no traffic either way, luckily. My commute ends up being only about half an hour. Living in Northern, VA? Yup. It's a miracle that I'm outside of the many, many, MANY gridlock hours.

    Everyone should have 3 days off; it's the greatest thing in the world. No matter how busy your weekend is inevitably you almost always still have 1 day to just do whatever. It's the best stress-killer.
