Looks down on them in the standings We're set up great. I'm only responding to the ability to spend. They've got the rest of MLB by a mile in THAT aspect. Yeah, I don't envy their team or the position they're in standings-wise; I just want that mad phat cash.

He was gung-ho on the entire idea of a rebuild and how Pujols was going to be old and broken down, and pretty much all of us yelled at him and told him how stupid that was, the Cubs obviously weren't going to do a rebuild. Not that it means he wasn't being stupid, it's just funny in retrospect. It was his jerkdom coming to fruition. I hope baseball hell killed him (inside).

He was like some crazy homeless man cursed to always be right with his ramblings but no one would ever believe him. What did he ever stumble over besides being adamant that Ricketts wasn't going to spend?

it's not about him being right or wrong. he's obviously not dumb. he's just a high volume contrarian troll and that gets annoying. and he does it on every remotely related cubs corner of the internet. OK. That makes sense. Because I was going to say, he doesn't seem to be an idiot to me. Anyway, I'm impressed with how much people here know about each other. Like Idiot is called by his real name id assume and I think Sofa is called mojo. Where the [expletive] does this all come from? those are their former names on here.
