  1. Anything you don't want possibly spamming you?
  2. people care about cycling once a year, people care about track and field once every four years. lance armstrong is a bad guy because he built an empire on performance enhancing drugs. he was the most inspirational story ever until he got caught. Bolt may get caught, but it's hard to track down the truth in a third-world country, I'm sure. I dont know what to tell you; the only thing I care about less than whether an athlete is using PED's or not is whether track or bicycling is more popular. And I was one of the cool kids that thought Armstrong seemed like an obnoxious dick when he "was the most inspirational story ever." He was a hyper-competitive, mildly sociopathic ass loathed by his teammates and everyone else in the sport, and not in a good way like prime Jordan or Tiger. Bolt is a likable guy clearly having a blast and he provides bite-sized moments of amazingness and then he goes away and I don't have to see his stupid bracelets and books and everything else like stupid Armstrong.
  3. A lot of us just don't care. It's really fun to watch. Armstrong was an ass who lead a sport only dorks care about.
  4. Uh, wasn't beantowncubsfan the person scheduled to start? You didn't miss anything; you're next in line.
  5. Well, it was .091 on the season coming into that AB and now under .200 in his career. I'll admit I embellish a lot but this is a fact.
  6. Did Hollandsworth ever do it? Or did he actually sit in on the TV broadcast? Hopefully I'm imagining all of this. Hollandsworth did TV broadcasts. His biggest issue was that he wouldn't shut up. He'd make an ok point, but then keep [expletive] talking about it. He just seems too over-excited and LOVES embracing some seriously meatball tangents. He also would try to relate EVERYTHING to his own playting days, but he seemed to scale that back during the post-game shows, thankfully.
  7. Your mom and Steve Stone probably did it. Imagine this guy's o-face: http://www.jewishsports.net/BioImages/Stone%20Steve.jpg
  8. Thats true. Dan Plesac is still the worst color I've heard for the Cubs. Didn't Randy Hundley fill in on a few occasions? Did Hollandsworth ever do it? Or did he actually sit in on the TV broadcast? Hopefully I'm imagining all of this.
  9. God, you are annoying, Coghlan. Why can't someone cool, like Heyward, get his hits?
  10. [expletive], give me some horsefeathering gigantic dongs.
  11. Hopefully it's something like this: http://d36xcvrkegf0f1.cloudfront.net/images/worlds/2751/HomerSellsSoul.jpg
  12. And before anyone is all, "uhm, excuse me, Coghlan has actually been BLAHLBLAHBLAH," I simply don't care. He is an awkward, boring dork.
  13. Coghlan is such a squeaking fart of a baseball player. There's a weird contingent of Cubs fans online that inexplicably love him, or seem to think he's destined for great things.
  14. Garza's li'l Gameday pic makes it look like he's straining so hard to unleash a giant growler.
  15. I think he's more of a smoothie guy.
  16. Bolt seems cool as hell; did Armstrong ever NOT seem like a dick?
