  1. horsefeathers yes, I found the cheese sauce thread: http://www.northsidebaseball.com/archive/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=57055
  2. Still the single greatest post of all time (Though B kicking it off with his horrifying fast food habits was pretty great, too): http://www.northsidebaseball.com/archive/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=52926&start=25#p2090310 I love how his avatar pic was, inexplicably, the horsefeathering Love Guru poster. And only 17 posts! What a legend.
  3. Fun fact: da Bum once posted a picture of his credit card on Facebook.
  4. Deadspin just put something up about it: http://deadspin.com/theo-epstein-ate-goat-in-the-bleachers-at-wrigley-1788665841 [tweet] [/tweet]
  5. Damn, too bad Cubbie Swagger isn't here to weigh in on this.
  6. And, best of all, he wanted a nacho cheese machine like you see at the ballpark concession stands because he seemingly thought they just made cheese, like a Star Trek replicator or some horsefeathers.
  7. that's exactly where I am. The regular season was fun for about 110 games and then it was boring until October, where it was non-stop crazy and a perfect capper. I need a break before I'm committed to anything (including my family) like that again. Yup. It's weird to think about how a month of just watching and thinking and obsessing about baseball can be so exhausting, but this weekend was great just in how it felt like it was the first time in weeks I got some decent nights of sleep.
  8. Though his last post was a reply to me, so I guess I feel weirdly honored, sort of.
  9. I thought frostwyrm was here rocking the political thread right up until, like, either the night before or even the day of the election before results started coming in, but it looks like he actually bailed on the 31st. I could have sworn he made some kind of big, dramatic declaration about how McCain was going to win and then vanished, but I guess I just imagined it.
  10. Nah, frostwyrm had...airs about him. No way his ego lets him slum it like that. Lenny = frosty [insert "not Lenny" Simpsons frinkiac gif here] Holy horsefeathers. That's a good theory.
  11. http://www.bleachernation.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/sweaty-joe-borowski.jpg
  12. He's the highlight of the 2016 Election Thread too Oh priorcruz is frostywrm? Figures Nah, frostwyrm had...airs about him. No way his ego lets him slum it like that.
  13. THEY DIDN'T TRAIN, SAY THEIR PRAYERS OR TAKE THEIR VITAMINS, BROTHER.

  15. Watching SNL makes you... stressed? I just... I mean... what? Hey, I said it was odd. I have this weird anxiety about watching bad live comedy, like I feel so bad/embarrassed for people just completely bombing at their job/passion on stage.
  16. I CARE ABOUT COMPLAINING, DAMMIT. But yeah, SNL faithfully sucked, and I was oddly stressed watching the whole episode thanks to my hatred/fear of terrible live comedy, and I was just reminded why I stopped watching it probably a good 10 years ago outside of viral clips that caught on in the next week.
  17. While I am loving all of this celebration, man, this is the most SNL-y thing possible, isn't it? "Well, why bother to make some actual jokes or anything?"
  18. Holy horsefeathers, why does it look like Mickey's eyes are painted over in the Disney parade? That's terrifying.
  19. I still think the arguments for Greene to have been a good bet to break out if someone got him away from the Padres were solid; I remember being really bummed when the Cardinals got him and figured he'd be kicking ass for them for years. He just ended up having personal/off the field issues that were WAY worse than anyone knew and it completely sidetracked him. Basically out of all the ridiculous things Meph said, the Greene fandom ranks pretty low.
  20. http://i.giphy.com/J89bZ06yYDp3q.gif
  21. I'm pretty sure he's had multiple usernames banned. Didn't he eventually come back as someone else and stick around a while as a non-psycho poster? I thought that was da Bum.
  22. Pretty much. I'm looking forward to not really caring about sports at all until the WBC for once.
