    Yeah, my dad and uncle made bank off of their tickets this season; I kept warning them that something like this was gonna happen and they should have sold their tickets to the first WS game at Wrigley. Coulda probably paid for all of next season.

    Holy horsefeathers, I finally saw the Bulls win. Since it came down to the freakish things David mentioned, I still kinda think it was some kind of illusion.

    Shocker; I finally watch another Bulls game this season and they yet again look like complete ass. I still kinda refuse to believe that their record isn't some kind of elaborate ruse.

    Fowler's .393 OBP seems like a pretty clear outlier for a guy with a career .366 OBP. Heck, dude pretty significantly outperformed his slugging, too; Fowler's good people, but looking at his offensive numbers from last year as a kind of CF standard seems like setting expectations a little too high.

    Is that how much 1 WAR is worth now? Was just watching MLB Now today and they said a replacement level 1 WAR player is worth about $5 million. If the going rate is actually $8 million that's nuts. I thought $5 was the number several years ago and it's been closer to $8 on the free agent market of late. Yeah, I thought FG or something said it was now, like, $8-8.5 million per WAR.
