  1. A friend of mine in the Bay area has this, both he and his wife do. He describes it as feeling like there are thousands of tiny hair-like "bugs" crawling under and in and out of his skin...plus trouble sleeping, constant rashes and skin ailments and muscle aches/cramps/spasms. I can't believe so many medical professionals are basically saying people are "making most of it up" in their heads when thousands of people have it, typically multiple people living together.
  2. Good. Gimme that draft pick! Can't hide failure at all when you're left twisting, naked and battered, in last place. Suck on THAT, McDundry.
  3. Oh my God! They flattened him! No wonder he was out for so long...
  4. The Cubs have a pretty good leadoff hitter right now. His name is Todd Walker. Too bad he'll probably never sniff that spot again for Chicago and will be stupidly dumped after this season. Idiot Cubs.
  5. For a second there I thought we were talking about Jesus.
  6. Why didn't you star Sheffield? He admitted it himself that he used steroids.
  7. I'll defend Bonds as a great hitter, one of THE greatest, up until 1998...hell, even after them, all the 'roids in the world aren't going to help you spot the ball and know how to hit. The only thing I question and look at with a wary eye are the home runs after 1998, as I do with pretty much every big HR hitter in the "steroid era." Bonds is a jerk, and the accusations of '98-'02 are pretty ugly...but his career beyond that is still beyond phenomenal. You can't just ignore how damn good he is as a hitter.
  8. Really? http://www.stcloudstate.edu/upb/committees/images/Concert-Ludacris.jpg Who's that? The guy we thought you were hilariously referencing when you spelled "ludicrous" as "ludacris." You did do that on purpose...right?
  9. Wood as a Cub is Dunn. ARF-ARF-ARF!!!
  10. Aramis' ba-dunk-a-dunk is NOT sexy.
  11. Ryu I'd be curious to see more of. Guz I think will reign it in, but Hill is stank, at least a starter. I think he could be decent in REALLY short relief.
  12. Damn, this is a frustrating loss. Not because they were so close, but because it was Dusty's lovable loser players doing all the scoring and hitting.
  13. Thanks, Aramis! "And that's the end of my show, DONK!!!"
  14. And they still should be. The man has done too much to just be tossed out at this point. I'd lay big money he's injured and hasn't just "lost it."
  15. they scored on an error. howry and eyre have been really good. sorry. yes, they have. Rusch and Novoa were the ones who stunk up the joint who said rusch and novoa would be strong out of the pen? the supposed pen strength was eyre, howry and dempster. unfortunately, dempster has sucked recently. few saw that coming tho. Saw what coming? All things point to him most likely being hurt at this point given his missing velocity in his last few appearances. He's crapping the bed because he's missing a pitch, not because he's tanking with his "closer stuff," as some have rather gleefully predicted.
  16. As topsy-turvy as this day has been, the big dogs are actually up now for the Cubs. Well, minus Hairy Jerry.
  17. How did Santo react to Aramis missing the catch?
  18. That's what you get for not knocking it out!
  19. http://mlb.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_113961.jpg "You sexy MFer..."
