  1. I wanna read the board badnews is ranting about, because it sounds crazy and awesome.
  2. A little part of baseball will die when Manny stops playing.
  3. Not realizing how awful he is is weirdest of all.
  4. He doesn't do his job and he has no business up there in the booth. If he was paired with less of a pro than Hughes, sure, but with Pat there you're not missing anything. Ron is a mess, but he's a fun mess since you have Hughes as such a sturdy anchor.
  5. HOW MUCH MORE LESS COULD YOU CARE. Not as much as I'd care if they took away my french benefits. NONE MORE LESS.
  6. Winning a stupid World Series.
  7. Is someone gonna to kick Webb in his vaginer and wake him up?
  8. Why, is he going to dive into the Cubs' dugout with a bunch of live grenades strapped to him?
  9. wrigley23 might offer that since Soriano wears a glove, that makes gloves automatically teh suck.
  10. No, dude, it's because SORIANO didn't hit, and his non-hitting magically infected everyone else because he's the leadoff hitter, and whoever bats first controls the destiny of everyone else on the team.
  11. Damn Soriano and his late-inning outfield orgies.
  12. Huh. A few months ago, I would have been estatic, but he's absolutely wretched at the plate this year. He's actually worse on the road than at Petco.
  13. Havin Fukudome hit period in the ASG is dumb.
  14. no, the bleachers are still too dangerous if you aren't paying attention, ask yeti. Last year I went to a game and we were in the first row of the bleachers, and during BP a ball came flying in and it hit this girl sitting a few feet down from me right in the chest. She was okay, so everyone thought it was hilarious. It was weird though, because no one knew where the ball had come from. We're pretty sure it wasn't a batted ball because I had been paying attention to BP and no one had hit it up there, but it was way too hard to be thrown. One of life's mysteries, I guess. It was Dunn's homer from the other day. It circled the Earth so fast it tore a whole in the fabric of time and re-emerged that day.
  15. Angel Guzman, your table is ready.
  16. Odd rant. That doesn't even sniff the epic horrible lows that Hawk and DJ reach on a daily basis. I've heard the Pirates' guys plenty of times in my EI days...they're incrediby boring, but that clip doesn't seem especially bad compared to most announcers flipping out over a big win, and that was a pretty huge win.
  17. Bingo. He always was riding the strike zone, and he's been around enough now that teams know to lay off of him and force him to either throw the very hittable fastball or walk them.
  18. Would have been awesome to have a guy who's been a really good reliver and gets a lot of groundballs an K's when he pitches anything even close to regular.
  19. McLouth was 2-4 years younger than Fuld at their corresponding levels. yeah. to put it another way, mclouth's last year in the minors was in the same year of birth as sam fuld's first year in the minors. mclouth had some projectability; fuld is basically a finished product. ROTFHLFDMSFMFFAJAO
