    What’s the late inning strategy after the SP is out that having the DH prevents from happening? The AL still pinch hits guys in matchup spots, managers still use multiple RPs there. It’s pretty much just the stupid double switch and that’s it? Or am I missing something? The inflated sense of self-importance that can only be matched by submitting a blank HoF ballot.

    I am dreading some kind of Faustian nightmare where Russell emerges from his suspension playing amazingly, and inexplicably becomes the MVP-type piece that pushes them over the top. That storyline is so impossibly grotesque (and really any kind of BS "redemption" storyline that results in him still playing for the Cubs), and I loathe that he is still a part of this team.
