Following the minors is fun, but ultimately if I follow it too much it depresses me because the only reason that ever happens is because I've found the Cubs to be be too terrible. I appreciate the few guys here who follow the minors full time and actually know what they're talking about, but it's hard for me to get too excited over minor league players until they show up and contribute for the Cubs or get traded for someone who can contribute now. -

Snookie could represent Durant and he's still going to get the same contract. I'm not saying he doesn't need a manager or anything for endorsements, scheduling, whatever. But I thought agents primarily deal with contracts. When is his next contract even coming up? 3, 4 more years? Agents don't deal only with contracts. He needs one (and a business manager, and accountants, and God knows what else). These guys are terrible with money.

Hey, come on, he had that one year where he was really, really good and then three years where he was worth about $6 million total. That's definitely the kind of guy you want to lock up for several years AND a good chunk of change!

This might shed some light. So is that all the bullpen's fault, or is the offense falling off after the 6th as well? Bruce's statement is exactly what I pointed out many pages back and was laughed at. They're still not as bad as their record, but they're close. You were laughed at for pointing out that the bullpen sucks? Somehow I doubt that.
