    No way. If we somehow beat Miami and the refs, then beat Detroit and the refs, we're winning the East title. I'm certain of it. Even if we have to beat Cleveland and the refs to do it.

    Awesome? They've been just horrible in the 4th quarter. I suspect he means their 20-8 record since the All-Star break. I expect the Bulls to beat the Heat. I do too, but what about Detroit? Bulls had a road to the East Finals made for them and all they had to do is win this one game. Haven't the Bulls played the Pistons really well this season? Or does it just seem like it? I don't watch a helluva lot, so I'm just going on gut here... They won 3 of 4 and they should've won the 4th. But the playoffs are a different story, and I don't buy our chances of beating Detroit without home court. I am supporting my damn team. Supporting them by wanting them to have the best chance possible of postseason success. Don't tell me how to root.

    If that ends up being the case, let me assure you that Dusty will move to the top of my Most-Hated List for trying his hardest to ruin every pitcher who put on a Cubs uniform during his tenure. Cripes, he should have been fired after the Chad Fox debacle. That was inexcuseable. What the hell is your avatar? The first two of those images are from Eurotrip. The rest...got me.

I can still access my team, just can't make moves, so I'll PM you or something if I want to add/drop somebody. Is this permanent? Because that would be a lot of work. Actually, yeah, that does seem ridiculous. I'm still going to check my team everyday (just can't make moves because they'll ask for a login confirm), so I'll just keep tabs and let you know if I need anything. Thanks. I had to do this as commish for someone in another nsbb league. One of the nsbb faithful tipped me off to this resolution (though he wasn't part of the league), so I'll pass it along even though I'm not part of this league. Hope it works. Brilliant.     If Orlando wins tonight and Washington loses, Orlando is the 7th seed. Only way Washington gets the 7 seed is by losing with Orlando losing. Only way New Jersey gets the 7 seed, however, is by losing with Washington winning. I'm not overly concerned about any of the 3 teams, though. Much more concerned about a potential Miami series. Thanks, I hadn't studied up on the tiebreaking scenarios. I'm disagreeing with you on the bold, though. Orlando scares me - Howard owns us.

    Barrett's gonna be busy! :D Geez, playing two positions would be bad enough if it were CF/RF, but Barrett somehow has to catch and then run out to RF if a ball is hit there!

    Isn't that pretty much guaranteeing a fine or suspension? Should a major league manager be carrying out vendettas for his fanbase and openly saying he's going to instigate something with another team because a guy hit a home run and hopped? Sammy rubbed it in pretty good and it was a meaningless homer. I would think it was pretty lame if a similar thing happened to the Cubs. Me too, but if our fans are treating someone like crap and he goes yard on us, then I expect him to do something like that. I'd still be angry, but I'd expect it.

    Yeah, Murt's played right the last two days, so putting Fonz there would probably affect Cliff and Jacque just as much as Murton, probably more. I'd be shocked if both Cliff and Jacque are on this team come August 1st.

    Considering patience has been his biggest knock all the way through our system, it was a very pleasant surprise to see him taking some pitches, while at the same time being aggressive. I would like to see a slight adjustment to his swing though - too much of a fly ball swing, not enough of a line-drive swing.
