    3 good pitchers. I definitely wouldn't call any of them HOF pitchers. 18 wins, 2.40 ERA in his first big league season? 20 Ks in his 5th big league start? 4 successive seasons with sub-3.50 ERAs by age 26? I wouldn't say any of them were sure-fire, but they all had the potential.

    Figures. The most destructive coaching tenure in sports history happens to the Cubs. Has any manager been responsible for destroying 3 potential Hall of Famers before? And is this justification for every one of us to get a free punch at Dusty?

    Link. If Jacksonville drafts Henne they are beyond screwed. That man has little to no future as an NFL quarterback - no better than John Navarre was. Why do you say that? A career 60%+ passer with 4 years starting experience looks pretty darn good to me. It seems like with all the talent on his team (Hart and Manningham to be specific but there are more) that he should be doing more with it. Part of this may fall under Michigan not passing the ball very much. Although I've watched a fair few Wolverines games over the years, and Henne makes at least one hideously, indescribably bad throw per game.

    I find it sickly entertaining the way it is. Also, if we keep guest conductors there's still a remote chance that I become a famous sports broadcaster and get a chance to sing it.
