  1. I boldly predict a Bulls win tonight.
  2. This guy http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/407296.jpg (3-3, 5.83 ERA) Against this guy http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/429720.jpg (5-0, 1.79 ERA) Looks like my run as starter will be quite brief. Go Bulls!
  3. I don't think so...last April a Marlins game was on WCIU/ESPN and aired on ESPN, so it may be that you will see this game anyway.
  4. I have a strangely good feeling here. Skiles has finally put TT in, he's playing well, the Bulls looked good today. All I know is, the Pistons better not let us steal game 5 in Detroit, because game 6 is in Chi-town, then anything can happen in a game 7...
  5. Ryan put the Phillies in the http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e67/ndistops/Dumpster.jpg
  6. I'm taping this, hopefully it turns out better than my tape of Game 3 of the Bulls series, which didn't ever start recording.
  7. This game was originally scheduled for CSN, I'd be fascinated to learn why they bumped such a pitching matchup to the +
  8. I'd have been thrilled if someone told me the Bulls would play eight playoff games, but I didn't want to see them crash and burn like this. Now we're right back to the "Baby Bulls" stigma.
  9. Probably will. Lefty Cole Hamels pitching, and it's not like we have anyone on the team who can play over him against a lefty. Pagan Will be in center because we don't have anyone there who can hit lefties either
  10. I added a few friends after I got premium, but I've yet to see a point.

  12. Figures. If the Bulls lose tonight it's going to be one miserable 18-hour work weekend.
  13. game's not over. Is there any doubt that the Cubs will go down 1-2-3 in the ninth? Nah. I expect a fake rally here. This game calls for it. Hmmmm...been awhile since one of the Cubs tripped and fell going from third to home. Gotta be a wild pitch with the Cubs runner getting thrown out at the plate on a bad call by the ump.
  14. Blanco, Pagan and someone who can't hit lefties (since we don't have any who can on our bench).
  15. Fonz has also been on base in every game he's played in, although he missed a few. April 10th? Len lies then
  16. The ump's calling outside pitches for strikes for Maholm, and that's not helping matters.
  17. Fonz has also been on base in every game he's played in, although he missed a few.
  18. I believe it. Wild card, anyone? At this point I'd be absolutely jacked beyond belief to get a wildcard. Who'd have thought it'd be mid-May and Lilly, Hill and Marquis would all be dominating and Z would be worthless?
  19. 3 good pitchers. I definitely wouldn't call any of them HOF pitchers. I think Wood and Prior definitely had HOF potential. I don't think Zambrano was ever that good. I'll agree with Wood and Prior on potential. But even if they were healthy, they sure weren't locks. If I thought they were locks, I would have said surefire HOFers and not potential HOFers
  20. 3 good pitchers. I definitely wouldn't call any of them HOF pitchers. 18 wins, 2.40 ERA in his first big league season? 20 Ks in his 5th big league start? 4 successive seasons with sub-3.50 ERAs by age 26? I wouldn't say any of them were sure-fire, but they all had the potential.
