I would have to say my favorite is when the Cubs make an unbelievably stupid mistake in the field or on the bases and then allow that to snowball into a series of even dumber mistakes that keep cropping up during the course of a game.
This is ridiculous. Any smart baseball player would do this. What's bush league is the idiot John McDonald bitching about it after he let himself get so easily drawn away from the task at hand, catching an absurdly easy pop-up.
The most pathetic part is if this team could get their heads out of their asses for just one week and go, say, 5-2 or 6-1, they would instantly be within 2 or 3 games. That's how ridiculously bad this division is.
According to Cubs.com, Byung-Hyun Kim will make his first start of the season tomorrow against Sean Marshall at NSBB day. Kim has a 10.50 ERA in 6 innings so far this year. I am going to jump off the scoreboard if we lose. Oh yeah, and we're 5 GB and in 2nd place when we've won one series in 3 weeks. Mind-boggling.
me too, but I do have Lee and Ramirez in most of my leagues. I usually end up with Barrett since for some reason no one wants a great hitting catcher, but his performance this season may make this the last time that happens.
