  1. The original post is now updated with Holliday.
  2. As I understand it, Rios is the one replacing Cabrera. The original lineup was 4 NL people and 3 AL people.
  3. Look out McCovey Cove.
  4. Just pimping my new blog entry that I wrote last night.
  5. The only answer is ARod.
  6. Wow. Tough crowd. Can't really get too excited about a 4-3 trip against the likes of the Nationals and the Pirates. We picked up 2 games on Milwaukee on the trip, and I'm excited about that.
  7. The Cubs do amazingly well in games I tape and work forces me to tape the game tomorrow. Go Cubs! Win Z his 11th! (Watch him go win the Cy Young this year of all years because of his wins.)
  8. Pretty damn impressive that the Cubs have gotten a QS in 44 of 86 games, more than half. I'm dangerously optimistic. If we can get to the break 3.5 out, I'll go nuts.
  9. I blame myself for saying I liked the trade and citing Bowen's good year thus far.
  10. WOW! When you're winning, these things just seem to happen, don't they?
  11. Was that scored as a hit? I would have guessed FC. Gameday scored it as a sac bunt, Marquis safe at first.
  12. Here we go! Now'd be a good time for that Fonzie bomb I called to my friend earlier today.
  13. Geez, thanks for giving up hits to the freakin pitcher Marquis.
  14. Stupid CSN+. I'm going to have to try and get on here to follow the game.
  15. He's winning it by a mile, so your prediction was correct.
  16. Just say no, Bob. That's a dead-end job anyway, and I have a feeling the Cubs would make some awful hire to replace you.
  17. The Cubs going against a good pitcher makes me much less worried than Chico yesterday.
  18. Alright, Milwaukee lost today, so no harm done. Let's just kick their ass tomorrow.
