    Why not? The possibility, however remote, of having to face Peavy in a World Series. You're very odd. I don't see why that's odd. Peavy on San Diego was completely nonthreatening unless we face him in the one series we have left with the Padres. Peavy on another contender means he could flare up in October.

    It occurs to me in this debate what a freaking amazing piece of Cubs history Moises Alou would've entered if that ball had in fact gone into his glove. It would've been a fantastic play and presumably the Cubs win the game if he makes that catch. Instead, all he is is a whiny guy who urinates on his hands and had a pretty damn good 2004 season at the plate.

    I'm not quite as anti-Stone as some here, but it's worth noting that he wasn't acting like a bitch towards the Cubs franchise prior to September of 2004.
