  1. Don't like where this is going one bit.
  2. And on top of that, this guy Nolan Jones apparently leads the NL in assists? That makes it even worse - you know this guy doesn't have a bad arm.
  3. Great job Seiya to pick up Dansby. Bad job to send the runner. I know there were 2 out but anything other than to the backstop was going to get Happ there.
  4. Turn game back on, 2 pitches later, turn back off. Thanks fellas.
  5. Happy fan appreciation weekend, watch us finish gagging up a playoff spot against the worst team in baseball
  6. I have nothing to add from last night except I have no clue how PCA put up numbers in AAA with the swings he puts out there. He looks like he's swinging a tree branch.
  7. Almost certain I've never seen the guy on deck force an interference call before.
  8. Don't worry, the 2010 defense eventually folded from carrying the team all year and so will this one. Also every damn player who's any good on this team is getting injured so they'll get worse
  9. He has absolutely no help from anyone else on offense, and neither did Clausen. But I can't think of literally any NFL QB who started THIS terrible and became a real star, which is what Young has to be to justify the assets used to get him. At some point if you're good enough you're able to make good stuff happen.
  10. The biggest difference between the Bryce Young and Jimmy Clausen eras is that people generally like Bryce Young. Other than that it's pretty much the same thing.
  11. If the Panthers lose tonight, they'll be 0-2 with two divisional losses and everyone else in the NFC South will be 2-0. So this is about as important as a Week 2 game ever gets if this team is to be anything besides an accomplice in the Bears' plans to get Caleb Williams.
  12. Factor in that there is simply no horsefeathers way Justin Steele pitches like this again next year and things look pretty bleak
  13. Should be interesting to see what changes are made after this collapse is completed.
  14. Notre Dame likely has the better QB and CBs here and the RB position is probably a stalemate. Those are pretty important positions to be at least even. Problem is I'm not sure where else they are better. The defense has to create some havoc plays, which they haven't really done much of, and it would be super if ND's absurd bad fumble luck turns (they have not recovered a single fumble all year despite forcing 7 of them). I expect a close game but as a ND win over Ohio State has never been televised, I will believe it when I see it.
  15. And now we have to score at least 3 times and probably more, so it's safe to say this is over.
  16. Smart play by Tauchman. Essentially turns that into a sac fly. Unfortunately we now have to score twice to win, so good luck with that
  17. That was unbelievably stupid by Swanson. Good lord.
  18. I wonder if Arizona will horsefeathers up this scoring chance

  20. We can't score any damn runs anyway, so let's make sure we make our defense worse too
  21. Canario never did play. horsefeathers send him down if Ross literally refuses to use him. God forbid we send someone up who might get an extra base hit and ruin all the infield single and double play groundout fun
  22. Unfortunately the majority of those good things are leaving the team in the offseason. Good horsefeathers luck replacing them
