    Thank Christ
  2. Andy
And he instantly walks the winning run to the plate. This is gonna hurt
  3. Andy
    Wow.
  4. Andy
Darn, Yan hit that pretty well. Hopefully 3 is enough
  5. Andy
Clearly was sitting breaking ball there
  6. Andy
Please do something cool here Madrigal
  7. Andy
I like 4-2 way more than 3-2, thank you Wisdom
  8. Andy
Diving catch day at the ballpark today I guess
  9. Andy
Great hit Cody, why the hell did you hang off first base like that

If karma exists, Hector Neris must be a hell of a guy
  11. Andy
That was a great play by Nico
  12. Andy
Oh, a balk, I was wondering how we'd invent a new way to screw up a game
  13. Andy
We have to win it in extra innings, the only question is how painful this will be and how many relievers we'll burn before it happens

I'm trying to think of the last time a legit good Cubs team pissed me off as consistently as these guys do. I think it was probably 2018
  15. Andy
It was 3-1 count, he wasn't bunting
  16. Andy
Sure, no need to swing at a fastball in the zone
  17. Andy
That wasn't a bunt, that's legitimately as hard as he can hit the ball

I forgot Mark Leiter is both available and good, in my defense that usually lasts about an inning and a half before someone goes on the injured list
  19. Andy
Well there is a 100% chance the Cubs score exactly one fewer run the rest of the way than they give up in this inning
  20. Andy
Looks like Morel is alive for now
  21. Andy
I'm not smart enough to know the baseball ramifications of that one but I hate Bregman's stupid face so I'll pass
  22. Andy
Opening day of 20. He also had the 81 pitch masterpiece against St. Louis (21 I think?)
  23. Andy
Wonder who gets called up for Morel when he inevitably gets IL'd. I never thought I'd see a run of injuries to top 2004 but this season is going to do it.
  24. Andy
I'm willing to bet more teams have lost 8-0 leads than lost games in which they drew 6 bases loaded walks (in one damn inning no less). At least San Diego earned their comeback; Pittsburgh desperately tried to hand this game over and the Cubs refused to accept it
  25. Andy
Complete with the Pirates inexplicably deciding to pitch to Bellinger even though Madrigal was on deck, a ridiculous decision that karma should've made them pay for making. This is worse than the Padres loss.
