I bet the advertisers are drooling over this one I thought Ohio/Marshall was an even better one. Two nothing teams that are nowhere near the site of the bowl. No one is going to that game. Yeah, NIU should be heading to the Pizza Bowl. They would've drawn much more than either of those two teams. NIU in Canada is intriguing. A holiday trip up there would be pretty interesting, although USF will more than likely win that game by 17-20 points. I was up there two years ago when Ball State played in the International Bowl. It's a really good time. Toronto is a great city, and they do a good job with the bowl.

Quinn is 16/28 for 190 yards and 2 scores today. Decent game against a good Bolts team. Cleveland has been stagnant in the run game though, and a sieve on defense, and they're losing 27-14.

Wins have been the #1 standard for the effectiveness of a starter since baseball began. Really? The Cubs had a pitcher last year that was 0-3 after 7 starts, which also happened to be his first ever 7 starts. They should have just kicked him to the curb because he sucked, eh? In 5 of those games, he left giving up 2 runs or less. Think about that for a minute. His ERA was very young Greg Maddux like during that entire 7 games and he didn't win a single one of those games. He ended up 12-10 with a 3.05 ERA, 10th best ERA in the National League. Joe Saunders went 16-7 this year with a 4.60 ERA, and his record was better than Zack Grienke's 16-8 with a 2.16 ERA, so by your calculations, Joe Saunders is better than Zack Grienke. I've seen that happen at least twice this year in college where they called it a fumble after a review even though they really shouldn't be able to do that. The replay system is a great idea, but it is very flawed. Still better than no replay though. This year has really made me wonder about that, because I've seen more calls screwed up by replay than correctly overturned.

I saw the review on a Fox game break and it looked pretty obvious to me. You'd be really upset if the Colts got the call. You have less than zero evidence that that is true.

Oh good, the Cowboys are on national TV again. I guess this year they're actually good, but so are the Saints and I don't see all their games basically nationally broadcast.

Some other bowl picks leaking out: Joe Schad reports Oklahoma/Stanford in Sun Bowl. Stewart Mandel says Pitt to the Meineke Car Care Bowl, Rutgers to the St. Petersburg Bowl and UConn to face South Carolina in the PapaJohns.com Bowl.

Misidentification of the 66-yard bomb he just caught, no doubt. :) Up 16-6 now. Should have this one locked up. It's probably our last W of the year unless the Saints bench people in Week 17.
