Early upset picks? I took Siena over Purdue (2nd-guessing my original pick because I wanted to pick a 13 - it was down to Murray and Siena) and Cornell over Temple. But so far I have all the 1's and 2's in the sweet 16.

I found this quote over on Adam Schefter's Twitter and I shake my head. Cleveland going from possibly getting Jay Cutler to Peyton Hillis and two late rd draft picks for Brady Quinn, is the main reason why they are the Browns. I may lose it if they draft Jimmy Clausen, as ESPN's John Clayton is floating. That franchise is poison for skill position players.

Dang it. I don't know who to pick between Kansas and Ohio State. Whoever wins is my champion, I think. I have OSU down for now.

When did you start hating the ACC so much? I don't hate the ACC. I think they were weak this year and Va Tech shouldn't have been in. I'm not alone (obviously). I seem to recall you saying that only 5 teams in the ACC deserved a bid. Also, you were begging to get Duke and complaining that they were ahead of Syracuse and West Virginia, when Duke is number 1 in Pomeroy's and Sagarin's predictor rankings. EDIT: Also, the ACC is #1 is Pomeroy's conference rankings and #3 and Sagarin's. Out of the ones though I would want them as well. And really I don't understand why even a Duke fan wouldn't get that. Kansas has Aldrich and ND would have had no answer for him whatsoever. Kentucky is super-athletic - beatable but incredibly talented. Duke is a team with Zoubek, who while tough is no Aldrich, and they aren't going to run you off the court athletically. It's perfectly reasonable. And the ACC had 5 good teams this year - if you consider Wake a good team. GaTech managed to get a good win over Maryland in the ACC tourney otherwise they'd have been out, if you ask me.

Duke got the weakest 2, the weakest 3, an injury-addled 4, ridiculously overseeded 6/8/9s...that's a stupidly unfair draw in their favor.

My only thought is that they decided to weight ND's performance as their 'new' team. This is incredible. Baylor will be a tough out, but I can't believe we got that draw.

Pretty sure the rule is only for the first two rounds. In the past though, they have always kept them apart til the Elite 8. I'm a little nervous now.

What? They've got 2 BE teams in pods next to each other (can meet in the 16). That breaks one of their rules.

ND's either playing Duke in round 2, or they got bumped to a 6/11 game...

Good news for Illini: Only 3 BE teams announced so far. Only 7 can get in. That means Louisville was left out.

ND will be in Kentucky or Duke's pod. The other 2 2 seeds will be WVU and Nova, so ND can't be with them.

I could see you beating Kentucky. If you keep playing like a team and don't go back to the Luke Harangody chucking show. I could see it. I could also see Kentucky beating us by 40.

Our bracket did great there. Everyone within 1 line. Ohio is going to get absolutely destroyed by Georgetown. ND dodged Kansas and Ohio State. That just leaves Kentucky as teams I don't want to see anywhere near our pod.

Ridiculous. You're about the 7th best team in the country and end up with a 1 seed. On the bright side for me, that means ND might draw them as a potential round 2 opponent. (I have been obsessing over the round 2 matchups for 2 days.)

Duke shouldn't even be ahead of WVU, let alone Syracuse.

He has problems, but he's started 12 games on a team that had almost literally no offensive talent and was yanked around like no 1st round signal-caller I've ever seen. There are some far worse QBs that have gotten far more time than he got. I can only hope he can beat out Kyle Orton in Denver.

I think Minnesota will be a lower seed than we have them for sure, but I think they'll still be in.
