What the hell did you have happening to Kansas? I think he said he had MSU beating them. I had A&M in my elite 8 too. I'm down to 5 of those teams, but still both of my title-game participants kicking, which is really what it comes down to.

I can't even count how many elementary mistakes A&M has made. Purdue deserves to win.

A&M is really not a very smart team. Purdue is, and that's why they're up when they have no business in the game.

A&M holding on in spite of themselves. They're making some poor decisions, especially in the low post.

And of course right after I say that they make the wrong call on a charge/block play.

I'm a big fan of refs that don't necessarily call charge or block every single time bodies collide in the paint. That said, if you're going to do that then you shouldn't call some of the touch fouls I've seen called.

I'm not sure how Pitt racked up so many wins - they haven't looked all that impressive to me when I watch them. Taking Xavier in that game was a pretty easy pick for me. These white guys (besides Kramer) are brand-new to me for Purdue.

Izzo is the reason I never let myself take MSU to go out before round 3 unless there's a really, really good reason.

Wrong thread. Oh wait you mean in this one, I imagine either OSU or MSU goes from the midwest. Should be a Big Ten regional final unless someone pulls an upset. I don't think UT matches up very well with Ohio State.

I have WVU in the Elite 8 but if there's one reason to root against this its so Gus has one good game to call. I have West Virginia as the runner-up. Gus's great game can wait until UNI/Michigan State next week as far as I'm concerned.

This is a good time to mention that Wes Johnson said he would've voted for Andy Rautins as Big East player of the year. That guy's a weapon. And the #1 reason that my pick of KSU to the Final Four is making me nervous right now.

The performance relative to expectations is a cruel game for multi-bid leagues. The Big 12 has performed admirably in the tournament - 2 teams already in the Sweet 16, 2 more with a chance to play for it. And yet they're at -2 because of Texas and Kansas.

Ohio State and WVU can either make me happy or destroy my bracket today. A&M will be important too since I have the Aggies in the Elite 8.

Georgetown was a relatively unprecedented case. They played the best schedule in the country, the toughest Big East schedule, and racked up a ton of good wins with only one really bad loss (@Rutgers). They weren't a run of the mill middle-of-the-road team. I doubt we'll ever see anything like that again. Pittsburgh and Nova would be better examples of overseeded Big East teams than the Hoyas. And of course, they got blasted by the #9 seed in the MAC. They make no sense.

Anyway, with that, I give. Pound away. Whatever. I would've thought if anyone understood how annoying it is to see your league dismissed because of a tiny sample size of postseason performance, it'd be Big Ten football fans. Apparently I was way off.
