  1. Don't scapegoat the hitting coach when the offense is for the most part made up of pretty bad players. Other than our 2-5 hitters is any other hitter on the entire team that good? Thinking like that led to us getting rid of a perfectly good hitting coach last year and I'd really prefer not to chase off another one because he's saddled with crappy ballplayers.
  2. Nah, they probably could if they just went to them and said that they're simply not going to re-sign them. Benchings would probably help in that department too. It's a scummy move, though (except for Soriano, who just plain deserves it).
  3. Michael Wuertz would be BY FAR the best noncloser in our bullpen right now, but Lou ran him off like a witch in Monty Python years ago. Unreal.
  4. Jesus, just send Shark back to Iowa if you don't want him in games, having him tag along on road trips like a [expletive] mascot isn't going to make him any better. Headless chickens could run this team better, I swear.
  5. B&B whining about the stat crowd who say the strikeout isn't a big deal now. This is making my ears bleed. Shut up, morons.
  6. I don't know who the 2nd best team in this division is but it's sure as [expletive] not the Chicago Cubs.
  7. Just leave him out there and watch him crash and burn at this point. No point burning up more of our already-crappy arms.
  8. Should've gotten 4 or 5 runs off that stupid kid from Arizona State.
  9. On a 2-3 count Caridad walks in the go-ahead run.
  10. AMAZING Just in case we need a mop-up guy after Caridad gives it up
  11. Well, be it out of necessity, spite or an effort to get the kid confident again, Lou's going to Caridad with the bases loaded in the 8th again.
  12. Just walk him and make a pitching change.
  13. Probably the best move for the long term.
  14. Whelp. Good game Reds. Gonna need a miracle here.
  15. These seeing-eye hits are REALLY starting to piss me off.
  16. Alright, so Colvin probably replaces Soriano in LF, Koyie is coming in...where does the pitcher bat?
  17. [expletive] brilliant, Tracy. Looks like another year of horrible bench play.
  18. Well, Colvin will probably stay in Soto's spot and come in to play LF I imagine.
  19. Colvin PR for Soto, Tracy PH for Marshall.
  20. Big-time clutch hitting from our Cobs. Luckily the Reds moved too slowly.
