    Greg Oden is going to be the Sam Bowie of that draft. Sam Bowie....the guy PORTLAND drafted in front of Michael Jordan. That team is so cursed you'd think sulley was a fan portland has a modern championship, and they got aldridge while we got thomas Aldridge is a nice player, but he's not worth going gaga over.

    I have to believe one of the earliest people to use the expression "There are no words" was probably speaking in response to something almost exactly like that. It is awesome in its sheer badness. It is so truly horrible that I feel like it will be ironically embraced.

    So is it typical of the Diamondbacks to do the same? I wouldn't know, since they rarely play here and even more rarely do so when the wind is howling out.

    It's pretty typical of the Cubs to completely fail to make solid in-the-air contact when the wind is as loud as Len has ever heard it.

    The answer to this and just about any related lineup question is that Lou Piniella is neither smart nor imaginative. I wish he'd put Soto 5th or 6th in the order, but he just won't. I would offer that batting either of Lee/Ramirez 7th isn't conducive to either of them busting out, IMO.

    Haha yeah I heard it, also you could hear Ron laugh a little when Pat started talking about Miles. Ron kinda snorted when Pat said the word 'nothing', you know he was thinking "you're damn right he did nothing".

    His name is spelled Jaime, and my personal favorite thing about him is that they pronounce it Hy-May. Rare to get the doubly douchey misspelling-a-name-on-purpose-to-be-different combined with attaching a douchey pronunciation to it. I already can't stand him.
