  1. Called it. You're on notice Ohio State. The West region was a nightmare for me last year also. Oh God, yeah, I just looked it up. I think MSU's first two games might have been the only two games I got right in that whole region last year.
  2. Well, my intact Sweet 16 is about to go up in flames. I should have known better than to put faith in Wisconsin.
  3. I literally have every single higher seed winning today. I fully expect total carnage, especially with UNC/Nova, where I somehow ended up with the Heels in the Elite 8.
  4. They probably won't have to face a top-4 seed to make it, and even if they do, Gonzaga? Kansas State? About as easy a path as you could want.
  5. Ah, I remember that one - I picked the Beach in that matchup
  6. There's a huge amount of Lobo love this year in the brackets it seems like. I had them out to Arizona.
  7. Fouling immediately was a sketchy strategy that may well have blown up in Cal's face if the refs had called the foul UNLV tried to commit with 5 seconds left.
  8. What a collapse by Davidson and a nice comeback from Marquette.
  9. Somehow I ended up with Marquette in the Elite 8, which didn't make sense to me as I was picking and really doesn't make sense right now.
  10. Breaking: The Big East really wasn't all that good this year. Louisville and Georgetown were great, the others all have/had clear flaws.
  11. I definitely see UMF's point and I've said similar before, but ultimately I do think the pros outweigh the cons.
  12. Pitt pulls this crap every year. At least I only had them winning one game this time.
  13. This. You just have to log in through your pay-TV provider (unless the game you want to watch is on CBS, in which case you don't have to).
  14. They might have to wait longer than that. 10 teams is ideal for basketball (18 games, true home and home with everyone). Yeah, I hope the new Big East sticks with 10. They won't, of course. SLU and Dayton are probably going to the Big East in '14-'15.
  15. I'm probably the only one that kind of wishes they didn't change the Jim Schwartz rule. If you're [expletive] stupid enough to throw a challenge flag on an auto-reviewed play, you deserve whatever you get.
  16. Why? NIT and NCAA have different selection committees. Didn't someone say on TV yesterday that Iowa was the 2nd team out? Iowa was one of the last six out. The list I posted yesterday was in alphabetical order apparently.
  17. They absolutely can. But I stopped betting on Jamie Dixon teams in March a long time ago.
  18. I picked Bucknell and the MTSU/St. Mary's winner (I'm predicting MTSU), but those are literally the only two lower seeds I have winning. I'm very unnerved by this. I also picked Illinois to beat Miami and UNC to beat Kansas and go to the Elite 8.
  19. Exact time and broadcasters of last year's craptastic game, where ND pissed away a free Sweet 16 berth (Duke had just lost to Lehigh) against Xavier. I hope that's not an omen.
  20. I should add that I'm going to blame you all if my Illinois to the Sweet 16 pick doesn't work out, because it was no doubt influenced by their contingent on this board.
  21. I can only hope this all blows up in your faces like my 2011 bracket did when I went ultra-Big East homer.
  22. Seems like a lot of the 'experts' actually did well too. Lunardi for instance had all 68, all the 1's and 2's, and the last four in. I'm not shocked, as this year seemed pretty cut and dried in terms of who was getting in once everything actually shook out.
  23. I think they're usually announced late Sunday. They will definitely be known by the morning.
  24. Rex Chapman really needs to quit bitching about Kentucky and calling them 'we'.
  25. First 6 out: Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, USM, Tennessee, Virginia. According to truTV show.
