  2. It's still one of the best outcomes for the Bulls defense if Wallace is popping threes. Agreed, and it'd be nice if he'd cooperate by sucking at it like he usually does.
  3. Wallace shot 28 percent from 3 in the regular season and is over 40 this series.
  4. We really don't need any more damn injuries.
  5. LOL Gerald Wallace's inexplicable hot streak from 3 continues.
  6. I'm not expecting any favors from the refs, between the fact that it's Game 7 on the road and the fact that the Nets are definitely the more marketable team going forward.
  7. He's been excellent all season, really. Always thought he got a bad rap.
  8. Thibs should sign that half, because that was a [expletive] work of art. 24 more.
  9. Calf injury. Specifically a deep thigh bruise. From experience, those are nasty. Not the kind of thing you can play through? Said he could barely walk before Game 6.
  10. Calf injury. Specifically a deep thigh bruise.
  11. I've seen that get called continuation in college, for chrissake.
  12. In what universe is that Nate 3 not a continuation? Great 1st quarter, though.
  13. Hinrich out, so once again the JV squad for the Bulls tonight.
  14. I have both Shark and Cingrani and I started both because I needed a win (the other categories I'm screwed in) and now I'm getting a pair of no decisions. Not a good fantasy week for my pitching staff. I got RBIs I didn't need from Frazier and Bruce while the Cubs gagged the game. Double pissing me off. This has been "Fantasy Bitching Theater"
  15. Fitting way for Marmol to set a new franchise record for career appearances.
  16. Well that's just silly. Is it? He's not giving answers and for the most part has shied away from doing detailed Q&A. His teammates have been defending him staunchly yet he's done almost nothing to quell these sentiments. It keeps dragging along with no end in sight. I think Rose is being an idiot, don't get me wrong. I just think it's hyperbolic to suggest he doesn't care. I think he thinks he's doing the right thing for himself and probably for the Bulls too. Now I think he's wrong, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care.
  17. Well that's just silly.
  18. Luol Deng just sent out multiple Tweets saying that he didn't miss the game last night due to flu - these are in chronological order. Befuddling to me that anyone would be questioning Deng after last season (or really his entire Bulls' career). ETA: He just added that if he's medically cleared he will get to Brooklyn and try to win Game 7.
  19. Whatever Rose's motives, he has to be internally cursing the fact that virtually every other player on the team (except, ironically, the previously made of glass Boozer) is dealing with nagging injuries or getting the flu, because all that is sort of fueling the growing discontent among fans.
  20. Kind of nifty to see Nate McLouth, who's from the little town I currently work in, having such a hot start to the season. Though not as nifty as it would be if any of my fantasy players were having such success...
  21. Speaking of which, David Lee is playing with a torn hip flexor.
  22. That's kind of tough when the coach redlines them for the entire regular season. If nothing else, I hope Thibodeau is learning a lesson from this. What, keep strains of influenza out of the locker room? Make sure Derrick Rose always has a flat landing surface? This team was perfectly healthy in the 2011 playoffs. What about the nagging injuries to Noah, Gibson, Deng, and Hinrich? Thibodeau is an amazing coach, but his one flaw is pushing too hard to win individual, and sometimes meaningless, games without seeing the big picture. And as for Derrick Rose... Thibodeau is the one who put him back into a game that he had no business being in. Deng has the flu and so does Gibson. Noah's plantar fasciitis is pretty much going to be an issue if he plays basketball. Hinrich's injury isn't a result of overuse. Rose's injury wasn't either.
  23. Heh, no kidding. Though the Bulls didn't do a terrible job on Deron Williams tonight.
