  1. Hernandez apparently destroyed his home security system and cell phone and had his house professionally cleaned. Umm....
  2. Yadier Molina and his mid-career decision to suddenly become the best hitting catcher in baseball for no damn reason.
  3. You're never gonna believe this, guys, but Edwin Jackson is taking forever to get out of the first inning.
  4. He was way out of the basepaths. It wasn't a particularly dirty slide (at least IMO), but it was definitely the right call.
  5. Give him a shot at it. Can always take him out if he struggles.
  6. Yadier Molina is determined to piss me off every time I see him, I think
  7. There is not a single reason for Marmol to be here anymore (except to tank games and help our draft position, which is why he will remain on the team). No one is going to trade for him. Ever.
  8. Get him the [expletive] off this team.
  9. It's ridiculous that the Cubs' pitchers seem to routinely perform better with RISP than our core hitters. (And I know stats would indicate they don't)
  10. That's odd. He's not the first player I've ever seen do that. The others were white so they never noticed.
  11. You don't just stroll into Wrigley Field and win 13 times in a row, Dusty Baker's Reds. Lesson learned.
  12. Olczyk is equally bad at this as he is good at his day job. Wow, that's awful.
  13. That's only when the hitting coach is good. (Still pissed about Gerald Perry)
  14. You often read about baseball teams whose peripherals show they're a better team than their win-loss record. Can't remember a recent team whose win-loss record showed they were a clearly worse team than their peripherals did.
  15. Yes, at 127 doubles, the Cubs lead the league, 9 ahead of Arizona. Our 196 XBH overall also lead the league. http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/batting/league/nl/sort/doubles/order/true
  16. Cubs bullpen surrenders lead. Film at 11
  17. It would figure that Staples would fix a system that's mostly being abused by his beloved SEC by screwing over the schools that aren't.
