  1. Media and angst IMO
  2. ??? He's probably talking about the ABC/ESPN2 thing with the weekly B1G game. There's always an alternate ESPN2 feed for the other game ('reverse mirror'), but it can be hard to find for a lot of people - not sure all cable providers even have it, to be honest.
  3. Tommy Rees > Everett Golson.
  4. Don't sully the issue with facts. Say two people who didn't read the article Florida State has 0 wins over ranked teams. End of story. No amount of stat-twisting is changing that. ETA: Forgot Louisville jumped into the CFP rankings today. One win over #24 Louisville. ND will probably knock them off, but that might just push them back into it ND is giving up approximately a gazillion points per game and can't tackle. I'm not betting on a Louisville loss today.

  7. I don't know, guys, can we hire Martinez? Seems like textbook tampering if we do IMO
  8. Yeah, I saw that too. I'm sure it's not just the SEC that does it, but whoever does it, it's completely horrible behavior.
  9. Naturally Murray has a 90-yd TD run tonight. Go figure.
  10. With all due respect to your team's defense, I'd just run out any Patriot I have if it's even remotely a close call the way they're going.
  11. Try being an Illinois fan for a day. Just one. Dare ya Or any of dozens of other schools, for that matter.
  12. sure would suck to lose a couple players over some piddly old rape! I know the Internet cool thing to do these days is try to find any reason to go after someone for not showing the proper sadness in Internet posts regarding sexual assault, but I'm pretty sure Dew made it clear that it really sucks if these players committed a rape.
  13. How in the hell is the guy with Manning in last place? Ben Tate's release means I'm stuck with two guys not playing (Spiller the other) who are on keepers. In my league you can't drop keepers, and I'm obviously unable to unload either of them. I'm trying to get Crowell on waivers. Already have West and had Crowell earlier in the season before swapping them. Have no other RB options besides CJ Anderson and Hillman, if he ever comes back. I'm 9-2 and in first right now, but that stupid Browns backfield is going to be the death of me.
  14. I highly doubt he ends up at KU. Yeah, if you can't consistently win 8 games at a place like Florida (or fill in high-major program of your choice here), less prominent schools should know better. KU probably knows that as well as anyone at the moment.
  15. I'm prepared to be told why I'm wrong, but that trade looks like a giant win for STL. I'd bet anything Heyward goes right back to 2012 form offensively now to go with his always-awesome defense.
  16. They could be, although it would be completely absurd.
  17. Melvin Gordon will probably be a first round pick, no? Sounds like he's more of a back end of the first round type of guy and with how much RBs have been devalued in the draft, he could easily slip. Gordon, Coleman and Abdullah have a chance but Gurley was a slam dunk before the injury. Really sucks for Gurley. Screw the NCAA. NFL is the organization that kept Gurley from turning pro, not the NCAA. Is the NFL also the reason the NCAA makes money off these guys and yet doesn't give them a penny? Why do you follow it if it's so repugnant?
  18. How is it that everyone on the Broncos got hurt except Demaryius Thomas and C.J. Anderson and yet neither one scored a TD today? The only good thing about football was my 8-2 fantasy team, and because none of my RBs can stay on the field and productive, it's going down in flames.

    NFL week 11

I should probably just give up football for a while before it takes any more years off of my life.
  21. Didn't we just have that two weeks ago? That was just the Mississippi schools, this is the others
  22. Happy SEC vs. FCS Warmup Week, everyone.

  24. The only silver lining is they're going to get dumptrucked by Alabama, Oregon, or whatever actually good team they face in the playoff. Hopefully. Would you really believe, based upon Jimbo Fisher's history as a HC, that having a month to prepare won't allow us to have a great shot against anyone in our first playoff game? Since college football as a whole seems to exist mostly to piss me off, I'd guess FSU and Alabama will pretty much play in the title game for the next 12 years in a row, with only new Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh breaking it up with the occasional bid. So no, I wouldn't.
