BABIP monster is after us again
  2. Andy
Maddon is a genius for starting Herrera!

Would really love if CF was the backup plan to 3B. Bryant probably wouldn't be a particularly good defensive CF but he probably wouldn't be a terrible one either.

Got BABIP'd to hell tonight. Can't come back every time, I guess.

[expletive] off Polanco, we've hit like 6 balls harder than that this series.
  6. Andy
You haven't watched this offense enough if you think that's the case.

Worley looked great that inning and he still had to throw 23 pitches. So awesome.
  8. Andy
Welp LOL wow. Hardy should be thanking God he's still in the league after what he (allegedly) did.

I wonder how many game threads from last year were shorter than this one already is, 90 minutes from 1st pitch.

The feeling I get when I look at that lineup each day is so awesome, as well as a sign that I probably care way too much about this team.

Some freak-out episode IIRC, but it was in a thread I wasn't following so I didn't get the whole story

Exactly. It's not like he paraded around that hashtag, he just sort of started typing it after wins, and it's caught on organically as things have gone well (with the Cubs' official account grabbing onto it a couple days ago)

Was that web site made using Geocities? I'm just spitballing here, but I think it might have been made using FreeHomepage.com.

Miguel Montero spawned the coolest hashtag of the season. Love when random stuff like that happens. Justin Grimm used it tonight, too. #WeAreGood.

It was. Won't be for long

He literally had a clutch hit like 20 minutes ago Relax, Jake, it's the game thread CUBS LEAD

    Erin Andrews knows a guy

Holy [expletive] they did it again

That was a good 3 days where we thought our bullpen wasn't going to take a [expletive] blowtorch to our chances in April for once in our damn lives
  20. Andy
We could win 110 games and those bastards wouldn't let us win the division by 10 games, unfortunately.

This will be first year in like the past 5 years where I care about what the cardinals are doing. Yeah, I was going to say something like this. I [expletive] hate them always, but their results should actually be relevant to us too.

I haven't been loud, but it would really, really help if Bryant can stick at 3B.
  23. Andy
Remember last year when we first got Russell and everyone posted dream infields? Bryant-Castro-Russell-Rizzo. There's your dream infield.

Googled it. My first avatar was then-Panthers WR Keary Colbert. It's been a while.
