  1. Exactly The point is to make it more interesting. That doesn't. Any PAT kicking at all is unlikely to be interesting.
  2. Read some Twitter takes that said success rate will probably get higher with focused practice from that specific spot, too, which seems reasonable. Frankly I'd just rather do the NFL Blitz system of free extra point or go for 2 than do what they're doing.
  3. Back down to 4.5 back with the dumbest loss of the year
  4. Is that a positive expletive? I don't know why it'd be a negative one.
  5. I'd be surprised if an extra year of service is a big motivator at this point, but I think it makes sense to leave him in AAA for a while and see - hopefully - more results from whatever tweaks he's been making. The extra year would, I suppose, be a pleasant side effect of that plan.
  6. Why would the SEC want to go anywhere else? All their players have been and will continue to be from the south. I think they're just irked that other conferences allow it more so than about their own not doing so.
  7. To save Bukie the trouble, he's not necessarily gone. Someone would have to claim him or trade for him. Don't know why anyone would, but it's in play.
  8. That's the worst. This isn't recent, but I've had a similar situation play out with Elvis Andrus. 4 of his last 5 HRs have come in weeks I was facing the opponent who owned him even though he hits like 2 per year.
  9. I loved it when I was in college, I'm not as big a fan of it anymore. However, I don't have to get up as early as a normal person, so it's not a terribly big deal.
  10. He got a couple yesterday, when we were down by 3 runs and it didn't mean anything.
  11. The fact that he left the game is a sure sign he's being called up. In all seriousness, if La Stella was the original plan, Javy next wouldn't surprise me. That said, they would want to get him at-bats and I'm not sure who you bench for him unless you do in fact move Bryant to the outfield.
  12. Get Rizzo to the plate and anything is possible.
  13. Seriously, if Soler had been batting there that 3-0 pitch would've counted as 2 strikes
  14. This is a disgraceful umpiring performance today.
  15. That ball 4 to Cutch was a strike about 5 times to Soler and a couple times to other Cubs too.
  16. If we lose, it's pretty impressive that it took this amount of garbage going against us to make it happen.
  17. There's not one league that uses replay correctly except maybe the NHL
  18. It's not like they rallied on a slew of lucky hits. Seems like a silly thing to argue about in any case.
  19. We get fucked last inning and Pittsburgh scores a run on a blooper. If we lose this one, we're even from Friday
  20. I was watching the Giants vs Reds game earlier and the 2B ump there was being worse. Think he was just trying to make sure there.
  21. Close but he was out and I think it would've been overturned.
