    Who bites the dust if we sign Soriano? Leverage-wise, Jaxon or Wood would be the logical choices but since we haven't eaten their money yet I'm guessing we don't want to.

    I'm not as plugged-in as most here but I don't think Javy's ability in the field was really ever a question.

    Also, that lineup bears way too much resemblance to the tankerrific lineups. Get Javy up here soon please. Hell, I'd settle for Alcantara.

    I don't think so, we're just facing a lefty and since Jon Lester started yesterday that superseded the platoon.

    I'm kind of going to miss that hill, but I didn't have to watch it 81 times a year either. Jacque Jones homering clear over that hill is one of the weirdest random occurrences I've ever seen in a Cubs game.

    It's kind of stupid, but it annoys me that the Astros are better than us when we tanked (slightly) less shamelessly than they did, drafted smarter, traded smarter, didn't let a great outfielder go to the Tigers for nothing, and didn't [expletive] over any of our top picks.

    I am starting Gio Gonzalez in fantasy tonight in hopes of waking up the Cubs' bats. Let's hope it works.
