I would lock in literally almost any scenario that guaranteed a title.
  2. Andy
No chance I'm turning this game off either, as much as it blows.
  3. Andy
I probably won't care much one way or the other.

Lol did Rizzo take Castro's music?
  6. Andy
    Wow
  7. Andy
Cubs have lost 3+ in a row to end every playoff run they've had since 1945

I'm going to post on here about how [expletive] pissed off I am at all the non baseball fans and fans of completely irrelevant [expletive] franchises like Cincinnati reveling in this so that I don't lose friendships tonight.

Should've just started him and gone full bullpen. I would've been 100% fine with it.

It always cracks me up that everyone who broadcasts our playoff games can't wait to get us out of the playoffs.
  11. Andy
Just don't even have a baserunner. No one outside of us will ever remember this team unless they go out doing something [expletive] historically awful anyway
  12. Andy
Because that's our lot in life
  13. Andy
1st inning run every [expletive] game
  14. Andy
    Of course

I think I agree with you (I'm assuming/hoping we will get Matz out of the game relatively early), though obviously it makes little difference.
  16. Andy
Nothing to apologize for, he's a little gooberish sometimes, but I like his enthusiasm.
  17. Andy
Yeah, these guys have given so much joy the last 6 months. Don't want it to be over.
  18. Andy
Only other one I remember was ball 4 to Dex
  19. Andy
Never thought this team could be swept. Never.
  20. Andy
    Haha
  21. Andy
I'll take 7 straight division titles right the [expletive] now
  22. Andy
Was it Millar who said before game 4 that year, "don't let us win tonight and let us have Pedro in game 5, Schilling in game 6, and anything can happen in game 7"? Could paraphrase that for Lester and Arrieta if you wanted.
  23. Andy
They were already plummeting in price before today
  24. Andy
Their high contact speedsters are a bad matchup for the Mets.
  25. Andy
    Great, everyone's playing hero ball
