    NSD 2016

I don't follow recruiting very closely, but can't remember the last time so much of ND's class was riding on the last few days. Demetris Robertson and Ben Davis are both super-elite talents that are up for grabs, though I guess the scuttlebutt on Davis is he's probably Georgia-bound. One can only hope both are super-impressed by programs with big-ass buses they drive everywhere.
  2. Where is Kyle anyway? There's an uneasy lack of conflict these days.
  3. Around here, it seems like everyone eats huevos rancheros or breakfast burritos. As for the topic, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three, but I'd choose french toast if pressed. Breakfast food is just generally awesome. it really is we shouldn't fight over this, lets be more inclusive I always picture the sweets when going out to breakfast but end up ordering something egg based. I could eat omelets 3 meals a day. There's basically no breakfast food I wouldn't love.
  4. A friend of mine works for a similar site that covers Pittsburgh sports, but they only have 1 writer per team and the price is like $2 per month. What I'm saying is this site is going to be a disaster.
  5. Maybe. Everyone thought New England was going to kill Denver too. Denver's D really impressed me today. I knew it was great, but they way they were able to consistently get to Brady was really impressive. I think Carolina is certainly playing extremely well and should definitely be the favorites but I'm not counting Denver out at this point. I'm about as confident as one could reasonably be about my team right now, but I was 100% certain New England was going to drill Denver. Dawson is right that if Manning is able to play an adequate game as he did yesterday, the Broncos have a chance.
  6. Davis being seriously hurt, which it looked like he was, really sucks. Everything else is pretty damn cool, though.
  7. If fries need ketchup, they're bad fries.
  8. You millennials and your cord cutting. (I'd do it too, but we live so far from the local OTA stations that we don't even get them, except for Fox.)
  9. Almost have to wonder why the hell they bothered with Blatt in the first place after LBJ came back.
  10. If a waffle isn't delicious without butter and syrup, you're doing it wrong. Agreed. I like a little butter on a waffle, but if it's good I can eat it without any syrup.
  11. What a bunch of tools. Yeah, the Cubs are going to sell beer at cheap prices. The fact that beer prices at Wrigley have shot up like 70% in the last decade or whatever it is has just been a smokescreen to this secret plan. Idiots.
  12. Over medium eggs are great, but I'll eat the horsefeathers out of scrambled eggs too. I could eat 10 eggs in a sitting. Maybe my favorite food.
  13. Don't get it, but whatever.
  14. I definitely watch enough games (West Coast games in particular after my wife has fallen asleep) that I will keep the full subscription.
  15. This, and I like getting rid of draft caps/tying draft funds to place in standings. There are plenty of incentives to go full Astros and punt seasons as it is and MLB needn't be creating more. That's pretty funny. The only reason I didn't say Cubs (and any reader of this board knows I did my share of pissing and moaning about the 2012-14 seasons) is because they at least had decent-size payrolls. Houston's payroll was ludicrous for a couple of years there.
  16. Damn. That's impressive. I used to work there and put away 13 once, but felt like I wanted to die afterwards.

  18. Late February or so, I think - right before the first televised spring training games.
  19. I have no idea if this was the case before - I don't think it was - but the mobile site is so much better now. Automatically resizes to the screen it's on, which I don't recall it doing before. So I appreciate that.
  20. I love baseball the way it is. If anything, I'd enforce a hard 45 second limit on replay decisions. If you don't see anything in 45 seconds to overturn a call, it automatically stands.
  21. All 3 are awesome. I'd rank them waffles by a nose over French toast, then pancakes.
  22. All of that looks excellent. My only question: MLBTV usually auto-renews at the previous year's price, which I haven't ever opted out of. I wonder if I have to opt out of the auto-renew to get the lower price or not.
  23. I feel like at some point Carolina has to answer for the fact that their best WR is Ted Ginn Jr. but it hasn't happened yet. Their biggest flaw seems to be that they only kick people's asses for 2.5 out of 4 quarters and they don't do well with 30-point leads. I expect a close shootout, but thin Carolina secondary or no, Carson Palmer will have to be better than he was last week for that to happen.
  24. User preferences apparently aren't saving. Came here an hour ago, changed preferences, and came back to find they had reverted.
  25. NE is going to beat Denver by probably 17, maybe more, and they're not even that good.
