  1. I have Hopkins and Fuller (of course, I'm also 3-5, so who cares). But really it just sucks because Watson is fun as hell to watch.
  2. But McGloin has moxie. Checkmate McGloin playoff starts in 2016: 1 Kap: 0 Obvious move
  3. Is he all that vilified? I feel like considering the circumstances he takes much less crap than one would expect a high-priced free agent bust to take.
  4. absolutely the events are just crazy and fun enough to justify watching something I don't actually care about. the summer olympics is none of that The events are also frankly more dangerous which makes watching pretty fun. Ski cross, for example, is horsefeathering bonkers. Snowboard cross (obviously the same thing minus the apparatus) seemed like a ludicrous idea when they started it but is consistently my favorite event now.
  5. This franchise is nothing if not befuddling in everything they do.

  7. If I had a playoff 4, Georgia would be 1 followed by Alabama, and you can pretty much arrange Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio State and ND 3-6 in any order you want and I'll buy it. (Sorry, Miami and Wisconsin.) I think I'd go in that order for now; but even though it doesn't matter, I'm enjoying that half of ESPN has ND 3.
  8. It would be funny, but Penn State is toast barring mass carnage. They won't have the quality wins needed. So far their best win is...Michigan? I guess? And MSU is the only sort-of quality team left on their schedule.
  9. I still can't believe I'm actually typing things like this non ironically, but you're killing ND's playoff resume here.
  10. It definitely was not necessary, but I can buy the idea that some new voices might be a net positive.
  11. You don't think it's fun to root for an overgrown horsefeathering teenager who may or may not ever play another playoff game in his career? I'm having a blast.
  12. What is it with Hoiberg and Cleveland?

  14. What a blast watching your season go down in flames against a team literally not trying to play offense
  15. ND hasn't clocked a (assumedly) good team like that since Lou. I don't even know what to do with this.
  16. A guy who was so bad I played Kevin Pillar over him in fantasy all year
  17. Zobrist is starting to annoy me. I know I'm late to the party
  18. He may be a terrible human but thank God we traded for Chapman last year. Imagine trying to come back from 3-1 with this guy
  19. I can also not wait for LA to stop being PitchTrax level disciplined in every single horsefeathering at bat and get their teeth kicked in by the Yankees
  20. Can't wait for Quintana to be awesome in April so I can get the memory of this garbage out of my head
  21. Zobrist is so useless at the plate right now (particularly RH) that I honestly might have just stuck with Heyward out there. But there are no great options.
  22. 2-Joe Maddon 2017 NLCS Yep, multiple people said on Twitter last night that Joe is now the first person (manager or otherwise) to get tossed twice in a playoff series.
  23. Don't let us win tomorrow. Lackey will pitch tomorrow, it's a mortal lock
