  1. That was one of the weirder ND games I can remember. One minute they're up 1 in the third and I'm ready for the wheels to completely come off and then seemingly moments later it's a blowout and the backups are in. I still don't feel good about MSU next week.
  2. Being picky, but GSU is in the Sun Belt. They haven't been FCS in a while.
  3. I'm a little late, here but Robot horsefeathering umpires. And I'm so glad Wilson is coming in to throw gasoline all over this game.
  4. I picked hockey but have no argument with baseball. Much harder in those 2 sports than the other 2 options.
  5. I understand the decision. Went ahead and registered even though I would be unlikely to be able to go even if I were picked. I imagine I could find someone to take them under such circumstances.
  6. It's very similar to Pam Ward of crappy noon ESPN2 college football games past, although Mowins is much better at her job.
  7. I wonder why he got rid of it. I didn't even realize he had until this lineup was posted, although he rarely used it anyway.
  8. The 6 games as opposed to 4 is likely due to Inter-league rotation being AL Central v. NL Central. I've not looked at other teams that have these protected rallies to test that theory though. That's exactly what it is. Since Houston went to the NL, the crosstown series has only been 3 games in Central vs. Central years.
  9. FIU/IU and GA Tech/UCF canceled because of Irma. UCF down to a 10 game schedule.

  11. The wrath of Irma continues as the ACC announced that FSU vs Miami next week is moving to October 7, a mutual off day.
  12. They should, but Clemson had a good win as well so who knows
  13. It's always nice to know that none of your games all season will mean anything before NFL season even starts. Super excited to go 8-4 without any decent wins and another offseason of being told it would be dumb to expect any better.
  14. I left Hunt on my bench in fantasy football because I'm an idiot I left Hunt on my bench because I had no interest in starting a rookie in his first game against the Patriots. He went for like $40 in my auction draft that happened just a day or two after Ware was announced out for the season. Obviously looked really damn good last night.
  15. Yeah, I phrased that poorly. I just meant that inasmuch as teams think tanking is a good idea, this proposed reform would probably do nothing whatsoever to dissuade them of it.
  16. It will still be a viable strategy if that particular idea goes through. Changing the bottom three teams to each have equal chances at the #1 pick doesn't disincentivize tanking at all - in fact it probably helps as you no longer have to be the worst team in the league to have a somewhat decent shot.
  17. Pittsburgh defensive positioning helped, that was probably a single with normal placement. Who had Avila plating Leonys Martin for a game winning run that mattered in March?
  18. Florida and FSU's games against tomato cans both moved up to noon. IU/Virginia takes the ESPNU slot vacated by Miami/Ark St.
  19. Another hurricane-addled week. Miami @ Arkansas State has been canceled and won't be rescheduled, and Memphis @ UCF has been moved to Friday.
  20. I don't deserve to win after mismanaging the crap out of my wild card.

  22. I have no idea how the physics works on that to be possible I covered a game once where a kid did that. I don't know how it happens but the idea terrifies me
  23. And Francois' leg was destroyed. Not the greatest day for them
