  1. The amount of money paid to middling NBA players compared to what even excellent NFL players make given the varying career lengths and physical attrition in the two sports is actually legit annoying if you think about it for too long.
  2. TBF in September, anyone in a position to help the team is already on the roster, so it's whatever.

  4. I know there were clock considerations but I think Fields should've just run for that
  5. It's been 7 years since Carolina was even competitive let alone good*. Don't even know why I use time on this. * not including their incredible ability to start winning games as soon as the only effect is making their draft pick worse
  6. South Florida might just be really good. They beat the hell out of Boise State in week 1 and won in the Swamp in week 2. They're far and away the leader for the G5's one auto-bid right now.
  7. Wake Forest and North Carolina did this too, in 2019 and 2021. The conferences are too large.
  8. Not for Clemson.
  9. I don't care how much Alcantara strikes out, sending Turner up there when we know he's a disaster vs RHP is straight up dumb. And he foul pops. Nice call, Craig.
  10. He's not playing tomorrow. When the Cubs say someone is "available" they're just trying to get in the head of the opponent and he doesn't play 99.4 percent of the time
  11. I have no idea how that pickoff wasn't a balk, but I'm not complaining
  12. Cupcake week going as planned for several teams.
  13. I'd still like to believe Pat's replacement is in the South Side radio booth, pipe dream though it may be.
  14. I was just coming in to share the same quote. Truly remarkable stuff.
  15. Ozzie Albies is a goddamn Hall of Famer in this ballpark
  16. Matt Shaw, you have to be kidding me with that play. He is unreal over there.
  17. I know our bullpen's been taxed of late, but this version of Drew Pomeranz was clearly a risk for bad stuff to happen.
  18. It's a wonder Pat and Ron are even able to broadcast the game between all the damn ad reads they do
  19. The Cubs ability to have guys get hurt just as they're starting an apparent hot streak is undefeated

  21. Also known as the 90 seconds TCU had no idea what Carolina was going to be running because Belichick didn't release any information whatsoever about his team prior to the game
