  1. Some people just don't get it.
  2. Yeah, me too. That one stung. You kept it on to see the celebration? I turned it off after the bottom of the eighth.
  3. Phil Garner just called Lidge lights-out. High praise for someone who took three out of your last five losses.
  4. I'm glad the Sox fans (the classy ones anyway) got to celebrate a title. I'm just bummed that we couldn't do it first.
  5. What happened? Nothing special, they just don't have video yet (guess they aren't allowed for a certain period), but they are recapping the series anyway and it took them five minutes to mention that the Cubs are the only "curse" of similar length left.
  6.    Scott Van Pelt and Jeff Brantley promptly start talking about Cubs fans. It took them literally five minutes. Usually I hate when the Sox fans whine about being the bastard stepchild but this series showed they aren't always whining for no reason.
  7. No. And everyone here knows it, too. That's the sad part.
  8. Screaming on my floor. Oh well.
  9. How fitting, this will all end with another RISP left on. Astros choked this one away way more than the Sox won it. *trying not to sound biased*
  10. Sorry, they've all been given to the Sox. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  11. The Sox and Astros have two of the smallest and weakest fan followings in sports. It may be that this is the biggest "who gives a crap" WS in recent memory. It speaks volumes about this series that an inordinate amount of time was spent talking about the Cubs. ESPN kept covering it from a Cub fan's perspective, Ozzie whined about the Cubs, interviews with Sox fans always seemed to have a Cub question in there. The media's desperate attempt to get a marketable team in there I guess.
  12.     That's priceless. We've got to give the Royals fans props, not many fans of bad teams would have the stones to talk smack to the Sox fans right about now.
  13. Oh come on, the Sox are a flat out good team! I never denied that, but they are a flat out good team that caught more breaks than any team I have ever seen in baseball or any other sport for that matter. That's a bold statement. Not really, I'm only 18 after all, so I haven't seen that much. The Sox just happen to be the luckiest team I've yet seen in my life as a sports fan. I think it is just your hatred for them makes it seem like that. They have played good ball the whole playoffs and defintley deserve to win it all this year. I'm not the only one. Haven't you noticed that every lead to every discussion of the White Sox on any ESPN show seems to include the amount of breaks they have caught this year?

  16. ...and boom goes the dynamite. I'm switching to ESPN. Utterly amazing that the White Sox got matched up against the perfect team to destroy in the Series. The last of what was about 2 million breaks this season.
  17. Only Pierzynski would try to get a strike called on a pitch that nearly clocked the opposing batter in the head. What a piece of trash.
  18. I thought Hawk and DJ aren't doing the playoffs. *sarcasm*
  19. Prediction: The Astros aren't going to cash this in.
  20. Ok, if the Astros screw this one up, things are getting thrown. Now would be a wonderful time for the Ensberglar to stop struggling.
  21. Hey, someone actually got hit by a pitch in this series. *sarcasm*
  22. Well, it's fun to take solace in the little things like Uribe's error last night and AJ and Crede's screw-up here. Even though the Stros can never cash in.
  23. It can never be said enough.
  24. Rooting against the White Sox this season is like rooting for Ball State football against their out-of-conference opponents.
