  1. Is that the scouting report on Macias also? Him and just about anyone else that batted 1 or 2 for the Cubs this year except Walker...
  2. *whew* Thank you Chad Qualls.
  3. Can someone please tell Tim McCarver that it is Per-EZ and not PAIR-ez? Thank you. And Joe Buck too.
  4. I like how Buck just said "break for the Astros" on that nearly airmailed into the stands throw. He hasn't said it for any of the BS calls in favor of the Sox but now he busts out the "break for" phrase.
  5. Good lord, they pitch out and he still steals second. Bad throw by Ausmus.
  6. In a way this is good. When the Sox win it all and I have to deal with a bunch of crap from every Sox fan I know, I will have the obvious fact that the Sox got more lucky calls than any team in playoff baseball history to return with. Nice bunting, Tadahito. Smartball strikes again. *smirk*
  7. Why are we calling it a mistake? Looked like a designed hit and run to me...you're a real genius McCarver.
  8. I disagree, this is only a good game if the Stros win.
  9. I would think about bunting here unless Lane has proven himself completely inept at it.
  10. Talk about bouncing back, what a great 1 1/3 innings by Lidge. Hope he is done though, don't want to exhaust him.
  11. Somebody tell me what the phenomenon is of average players signing with the Sox and having great years. Dye, Everett, Pierzynski, El Duque and probably more I am not thinking of.
  12. If it comes down to the pens in extras, the Sox have the advantage...ugh
  13. That ball one pitch was legitimately the first time I've seen a Sox pitcher throw a strike and have it be called a ball in a very long time.
  14. Think they walk Fat Elvis?
  15. Typical. First strikeout the Sox have earned all postseason.
  16. 0-2 count. Maybe no squeeze after all.
  17. Anyone else sensing a LaRussa? (aka squeeze play)
  18. Well, perhaps they are. Come on Willy!!!
  19. El Duque is doing a great job with baserunners this inning, hahaha. And they're not walking Biggio?
  20. Buck just jinxed the "never ended 2 WS games in a row with walkoff homers" statistic. The Stros are hitting one this inning.
  21. Of course they are, conveniently ignoring the fact that the umps have already gifted them two games this postseason AND have been squeezing their opponents' pitchers all postseason as well.
  22. No obvious ones, but they're making a point of squeezing the Astro pitchers while giving the Sox a strike zone roughly the size of Barry Bonds's ego. It's a wonder to me that the Stros are tied right now.
  23. Couldn't the Sox have beaten up an inflatable first base coach before each game or something? Why do they have to sully a GOOD team's name by stealing their tradition?
  24. Wow did I not see that coming. What the hell was Everett's problem? As if Oswalt would be going after Crede in that kind of situation...
  25. The Stros are ahead 3-0, but I can't enjoy it because I just KNOW the Sox are going to catch a bullcrap call from the umps or a pop fly into the Crawford boxes at some point during this game and end up winning.
