  1. Murt three-run homer please. Right before he pops out. And Barrett gets doubled off. Figures.
  2. It took one post-DLee game to fall to 3rd place...and we have Fat Glendon going tomorrow.
  3. Len strikes me as the kind of guy I'd be friends with if I were his age. One of my friends interned at ESPN Radio 1000 last summer and said he met Len and he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
  4. Len plugging the Darkness. ...right after the Bud Light Fan Cam, which may well now be called the Fattie/Hottie Cam.
  5. There are only two kinds of jokes that never get old: Jim Edmonds jokes and David Eckstein jokes. :D Well played. what about fat/drunk/ponson jokes? :PGood point!

  7. He'd get injured if he was batting .330 instead of .188.
  8. Something tells me they will get plenty of practice in 2006.
  9. Aardvark walks JRod in front of Pujols. Brilliant.
  10. It's not like the Cubs are the only team that does it. You see it all the time. Yeah, to break up no-hitters.
  11. i was thinking a forearm to the back, but you're not alone in your thinking. I have no shame. I was thinking a flying drop kick.
  12. Wow, it's been a while since we had a team that wasn't even expected to be any good. Last time I simply had no expectations was 2002. I'd forgotten what it was like. :(
  13. I think it's pretty safe to say that everyone who thought the Cubs' pitching could keep them afloat are pretty double-whammied tonight between Jerome, the Aardvark and the Wood news.

  15. Mark Prior photo DLee bat Anyone else think the Cubs' promotions list is kind of depressing?
  16. No surprise at the Wood news. We are the ants, and the Sports Gods are the kids with the magnifying glass barbecuing us to a slow death.
  17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at Big Z pinch hitting!
  18. Jerome out, Novoa in. Anyone else think that the majority of STL fans are sick of us having all sorts of injury problems? I know if I were a Cards fan I'd at least be a little disappointed that they have faced a shell of a Cubs team over the last three years.

  20. Why did Derrek have to get hurt right before a STL series? Why? You can just tell the Cubs are reeling out there. Hairston just looked depressed after that flare fell in.
